I love squier classic vibes. I have a 50s strat, 50s tele, and a 60s jazzmaster. I'd like to get the 70s pbass and 70s jazz bass as well.

If you haven't heard already, putting a shim in the neck pocket of that Jazzmaster can make a huge difference in the playability. It will allow you to raise the bridge a bit, which helps with string action adjustments and allows the bridge to tilt with the trem.

After owning a couple dozen guitars across a number of brands, my favorite guitar to play is the Squier John 5 Telecaster with Dimarzio D Activator pickups. It may not be a super high end instrument, but after a decent setup, it perfectly suits my playing style and compliments my Marshall and 5150 very well tone-wise.

That bullet neck is wider than an affinity at the nut. It's actually easier for playing chords if you have bigger hands. A little elbow grease and you'll have a nice playing guitar after you put some new hardware on it. That lake placid blue 60s is nice.

I own the Classic Vibe Jaguar Bass and am really pleased with it. The pickups are very good and the neck specs are very comfortable especially with it being shorter scale. It's a blast to play and I can always dial the bass tone I want quickly and easily.

I love using low cost guitars and then building them up with top quality parts. Someone's less likely to steal a Squier versus a Fender same with my Epiphone Les Paul versus a Gibson. A brand doesn't dictate my playing!

Have the black 50's vibe strat... outstanding guitar. I had to convert it to an hss black pick guard. Extremely well rounded guitar. Edit: I promise you... Hold on to that 50's vibe strat...

Squier is putting out some good guitars. Not perfect out of the box, but pretty good. I've got a whole stable of them now, but I ended up grabbing a cyclone from that proaudiostar sale. Very happy with it. You got some good looking stuff outta this deal :D

I have a Classic Vibe 50's Telecaster, Classic Vibe Jazz Bass, Vintage Modified PJ bass, and my son has a J. Mascis Jazzmaster and all of them are sweet. The Vintage Modified feels and plays better than my Mexican P-Bass 🤷‍♂️

Being a former MIA Fender snob, Squier is spanking Fender these days. I finally realized Fender has been gouging it’s customers & now I have several Squiers, which the attention to detail is better than two my MIA Fender Jazz Deluxes. The CV’s are stain tinted polyurethane in the necks, not caramelized (I assume you meant baked maple) wood

Ive heard that 30 inch scale is a "short - scale" and 32 inch scale is a "medium" scale. I guess its for your preference,

Nice video kyle, wasn't expecting this lol. I do actually like single coils for high gain but they can be trickier to dial in correctly. Have you ever used P90s? Always something I wanted to try out in detail

There is a strong argument that there is no reason to buy any fender past a sqcv especially if you are going to upgrade it. Quality doesn't get any better going to Mexico over Indonesia. My toronado is probably my favorite guitar to play. The neck is fast and its fret crowned and polished and just plays like glass. That pro audio Christmas sale was bonkers. I snagged a couple contemporary and a cv all for 200$ each. They showed up new in box perfect. That paranormal would look so good with a roasted neck and a tortoise guard

Squier were always the best bang for buck until harley benton. Strange seeing you play different stuff on single coils! That 2 tone strat is very nice.

The Squier vintage modified hss strats are awesome. I have had 2 of them. I like them better than the Mexican strats.

Kyle… my very first guitar was a Strat like Cort, bought in 1998… so, I think I’m older than you man! Anyway… seeing you with a strat/tele in hands is so… weird! But probability it is less weird than hear you playing and chugging on single coils!… I really prefer you on your balaguer and ltd axes!
