Great review as always George. "Elle" is the French word for she/her. Per the name "Lumiere Elle" is a feminine fragrance.

Hello George. Hope you’re doing well. What is your opinion on the barrakat satin oud vs the zimaya impulse oud you recently reviewed? Which is higher quality in terms of scent and which lasts longer?

Hey mate! The Barakkat one is still new to my collection but I think it has slightly better quality than the Zimaya and so far I kinda like it more :)

I gave up on FW. I have a solid number their fragrances, recommended by "influencers". However, I found that all of the lacking longevity and projection, most of all longevity. I am not aiming for compliments. But, at least, I can enjoy the smell and I am not finding it in their production line. Leaving them in the shelf does not improve it. I have some staying for a year or two and I am trying them occasionally and every time, I am disappointed. So, I stopped buying it. Paris Corner - same thing, maybe just a bit better. But, I found PC is very rudimental and not very well balanced.

I have to agree with you to a certain extent. But I have two that are noteworthy pertaining to your sentiments, that I've found that actually match your/our expectations. Both are from French Avenue line: Enigma Une and Spectre Ghost. Sorry about your experience, peace

I’d urge you to give fragrance world another shot. Their more recent releases have improved greatly in terms of both longevity and projection. Proud of You Absolute for instance is a great one. They have an Invictus victory Elixir clone as well called Invicto Victory Elixir that is nothing short of beastly. That Barakkat Satin Oud is one as well

Hey, mate! Nope I’m not. Up until a few months ago I didn’t have any Fragrance World scent (or only a few) but now I found a seller who delivers to my country and I’m exploring the brand. The same thing happened late last year and early this year with Maison Alhambra. At some point I’ll switch my attention to a different brand. But probably more Fragrance World content is coming up soon :)

No worries! I have done only one sponsored video out of all 450. That one was sponsored by Zoha Aroma and I still gave my honest opinion on the frags they sent me :) All other frags in my collection have been bought with my own money :)
