Its good to see Dwarves armed as in the Tolkien books, Dwarves with bows or spears - the crossbow/musket variants are a later version from Dungeons and Dragons and the like!

Yeah they have a much more traditional style to them, almost fairy tale on style. Being short(like myself) using polearms seems to be a good idea to solve reach problems. Thanks for the comments

Just watched the video, good stuff. I think you're mini's look great, and since I just got laid off from work last night I will be spending time painting the mini's that are currently on my shelf waiting patiently to be done.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I am so sorry to hear that you have been laid off, that really sucks. Wishing you luck in your job hunting. Painting up the minis you already have is a very satisfying thing to do. Seeing the pile slowly going down is a buzz. Unfortunately we are always tempted like magpies to shiny new plastic. Take care and best wishes.

You can use the light infantry as rangers

I've got a box of these waiting to be painted up. I think you've done a nice job on them, especially given their simplicity. Sometimes the excessive detail on modern minis can be off-putting, so it's nice to see something anyone can have a go at painting without being overwhelmed.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Yeah there is something very calming and endearing about painting lower detailed minis, or minis from the previous era. They don't feel the need to fill every mm with detail. Thanks for watching

@@welshminiatureboardgamer356 Oh I had to comment on a fellow Welshman's video, especially as it had relatable content.
