The IQ 10" dry cut tile saw, no water needed to cool the blade. The saw uses a high capacity vacuum that collects all the dust into a tray, eliminating the need for water and possible damage to interior floors. In cold climates, problems stemming from water freezing in the tray are also eliminated. The quality and speed of tile cuts are the same as you would get from a similar wet saw. I own several tile saws and owned this for about 3 years now. This one is the most accurate of them all....... But with that said due to it's size and weight..... I only used it once this past year. I had a huge 550 sqft project and set up in my customers garage. But most of the time I'm doing bathrooms and this is definitely to much to deal with so i typically use a snap cutter and table top saw.

How much ? I’m debating if I should get the monolite snapper.and just use grinder for rest. Or buy a wet saw. Any advice. My budget is 850-1000ish preferable 850 Canadian. It would be mostly residential Reno’s sometime condos. Bathsrooms,backsplash, front halls What should I get with my money. Like a cheap snapper or expensive or cheap setsaw etc. In own a coreee milwakua A friend of mine owns a radial arm which was nice to work with. Especially for larger tiles

Buy the best tools you can afford, A snap cutter is great for straight cuts, but you need a tile saw for everything else, a grinder is not a solution if you want to be a professional installer.

Have you ran into any chipping issues yet? Im sure the blade quality matters and speed rate of cut.

Yes it definitely has issues with certain types of materials. And if it's hard porcelain then you have to cut slowly.

I find dressing the blade often is a minor delay vs wet saw clean up. I also watch the pressure lights. If I get two or three yellow lights it’s time to dress the blade. I have not had issues with chipping anymore than my wet saw following these guidelines
