I have always wanted a pair of chunky boots! Prada? No, I don't want to spend that kind of money on a trendy item that will not last, and I heard they are not the most comfortable to wear. So, after doing some research, I decided to get a pair of Dr. Martens 2976 Quad Platform Chelsea Boots.
Dr. Martens has been around for years, and people always love their boots. One thing, though, I heard their sizing could be a little tricky. When I bought them on ASOS, ASOS automatically converted the shoe size to US standard, which was 9 for mine, and that's also my regular shoe size. Sometimes I could wear 8.5, but most of the time, I bought size 9. ASOS was an excellent place to shop with plenty of sales and discounts. Unfortunately, with labor day weekend and the weather condition, it took them two weeks to get to me. I had to call FedEx after they were left sitting in Houston for days based on tracking.
So far, after wearing it for a couple of hours, my feet are fine. They fit my feet tightly but are not too uncomfortable. I imagine it will take me more than a few hours to break it in.

It’s easier to put your finger through the loop in the back and pull very hard. That’s what that is there for you to pull the boot on

Thanks for sharing your tips! I had tried that, but it was still very challenging at the beginning! After about 6 months of wearing them, it is so much easier taking them on and off now😅

Cool boots!! I need some new docs!!! I had a pair from HS and gave them to my nephew years ago! Wish I keep them. 🤷🏻♀️

These are a little narrow and tight, but I love the look and I think the thickness of the sole is perfect!

It's not easy to break them in if you have wider feet, but I still love them for the look. 😊

I could definitely do that, I was about to make an update video. I may use the same pants since taking the boot on and off is a nightmare 🤣

You should try Asos Design clothing too. Good quality and ethical.

@@cheesim I really like their jumpers and casual items but I’ve never really been let down. As you’ve noticed with dr. Martens you can add to looks with brands also on there. I also like that asos clothes are ethically made. I’d always pay extra for this. Makes me feel sick people shop at Shein. Let me know anything you find on asos!

I believe it was one of my khakis pants, I just rolled it up 😆 I do think the boots look good with straight or slim pants 😊

Cool vídeo!! I want to buy the same pair but I have a question My size in all the other brands is 9US, sometimes 8.5us. What size do you recommend to buy? I mean in size UK

Sounds like you have the same size I am wearing. If you are buying while in US, you can just choose US size 9 unless you are on a UK website

It’s very challenging to break it in at first, but it’s comfortable once you wear it for a period of time😊

@@Jpemmara I bought my on ASOS and they had US size for me. If I remember correctly, the UK size would be 8 for me.

Will the boot league have to die over time? I'm a few days away from ordering my third pair but I've never had one of these and because of the elastic I'm worried 😅

I guess it depends on how much you wear them. They should last longer than the outsole though. I think at least a few years

They are true to size but narrow, especially at the ankle area. Not recommending if you have wider feet. 😅

lol. watch the whole video just to watch you trying them on. i thought something was wrong with mine. when new that elastic is way to tight. i have two other dm Chelsea and the elastic wasn't like that. but my other two are made in Thailand, this are made in Vietnam. don't now if thats the difference.

You are right about them being gender neutral, they do sell the same boots on the female’s section as well. I love it when fashion brands break the gender barrier and let the consumers decide what to wear wear. Thanks for watching 😊🙏🏼
