I was excited to find out when Hk was going to start importing them into the country again. I had to pick one up as soon as I found one. I am just excited to get to have one in my collection.

Thanks for the video Jason. Picking mine up next Tuesday. I have a Century Arms AP5, but not having the SP5 has never sat right with me. So I have finally taken care of that itch.

Just a preference. I don't like logos on gun bags. It advertises there's a gun in it. Concealment is key to better self defense. Besides that, this gun is a masterpiece.

I got one and I put a silencer on it. That hurt the wallet but darn is it the best one ever. Runs like a Swiss watch and sounds like a stapler

The MKE (Imported by Century now.) AP5P Pistol is available. Avoid the AP5M, that has the shorter no trilug, no threaded shorter barrel. I know Zenith is make the AP5 type gun in the United States, I am unsure if they make a "P" type one, which is the MP5K copy without the stock, sold as a handgun. The AP5M is a SP-89 clone essentially, with the shorter barrel.

I eFormed 1, an HK SP5 and a Kalashnikov KP-9, separately, last November, 2022. Each took exactly seven calender days. One was over Veterans Day weekend. I was quite surprised.

The APC is better engineered but the mp5 is classic

Okay but how do these shoot without getting special mother may I from the ATF. Meaning how does it shoot as a pistol. I’m not contacting the ATF for any reason.

I think they shoot ok. If you use a single point sling it is useable.

Do you know if the B&T RBS9 SQD Suppressors will mount to that SP5K with the B&T rail without fitment issues?

@@thetexasgunvault I do not know what is happend with your channel. I was a year not on the gun vault. But i remember at a time where you were proud of your clone. And all the stuff what you changed to original items. Don´t forget that time. Keep the clone and shoot with her. And make a video from the range to finish this story. Do a Form 1. Form 4s are for transfers.

@@thetexasgunvault the only thing I’m stuck on is background fingerprints and my Cleo section. I’m federal law enforcement and a marine veteran so they already got me in the system but I dont know where to get these finger prints and where to mail it. Cleo I’m confused on who to write down as supervisor. Ugh this process is annoying .

Yes, but I think there are some court cases that have dealt with that issue recently.

Now you have to send it to rdts or ronin and convert it to a mp5sd. Then you're cooking with gas.

B&T is an OEM Hk parts supplier so I would say they are.

@@thetexasgunvault Again , Hk barrels are proven . Hk mp5 barrels have been proven since the 60’s! BT has only been a company since 1991! Second sp5 barrels are made in-house ! BT is a great company and make great products but like many BT products have not been battle proven . Some are now in military groups but the verdict is still out

To be fair, I do feel a little hypocritical. A few years back I wanted a plinker that was just a tad sexier than your usual 10/22. So I picked up a Walther MP-5 A5 in 22 cal for a little under $400. Walther did a real nice job on it and HK supported it so it had the HK look and logo except for the slotted mags for the 22 cal.
