Unboxing my Amazon Homestead Supplies shopping haul. It's been a little while since I've done an unboxing video. I decided to order some things that will hopefully make things a little easier for me. I'm getting a ton of eggs every day now, so I needed a better storage solution. Also, I'd like to start shipping some of those eggs. I also ordered a few things to whip up the perfect cup of strong coffee, so I can't get all the things done! There were a few other things in this order as well. Links to the products will be posted below.
8 count chicken egg trays hold 30 eggs each: amzn.to/3K7rfVL
60 count food storage containers: amzn.to/4dKLYfK
100 count quail eggcartons hold 15 eggs each: amzn.to/3ULyjMP
Chain mail cast iron scrubby: amzn.to/3wFrYKO
Ceramic coffee pour over mug: amzn.to/44Mqgnu
10 count whole vanilla beans: amzn.to/3V3yQLw

No need to be down! You just described my EXACT soil: rocky and clay, and you know I get a decent harvest. Get some 10/10/10 and you'll be fine 💜 Also, if you need any coffee advise: hubs was a barista for 7 years. He grinds his own from whole bean and uses a French press. Amazon has whole bean for decent prices.

That makes me feel better, actually! Thank you. Also, I love coffee so much 😆 maybe too much. I have a French press, but I've never actually used it because I don't know how!

@KristyLeeVlogs you have to play around with how much of the grounds to put in (to your personal liking), but I know he heats 2 cups of water in the microwave for 4 minutes, adds the grounds to the press, pours the hot water in, let's steep for 4 minutes, then gently presses down the "stick" thing and pours into his mug.

@CargillHouse Sounds easy enough... I like my coffee to have a very strong flavor. Basically, it's like slightly sweet, creamy motor oil 😆

Great video. You look and seem happy with life now. As far as helping with your soil I personally recommend compost and wood chips. The wood chips brake down over time really helping the soil. Best of luck to you in your continued journey.

Yes! I've been looking for a good source of wood chips, and I've been trying to build my own compost. Thank you for the suggestions, and thanks for stopping by today!

@KristyLeeVlogs try signing up for chip drop. Not sure if they are in your area or not but give it a try.

@Bfamreef I have, but we live down a pretty rough dirt road that's basically a mud hole this time of year. Even when it's dry, though, the mail truck won't even come down it.
