This just happened to me today. My parents got in a big fight and it freaked me out and I panicked then, but the tingling and cramping didn’t start until hours later. It happened while driving so I pulled over and called 911 because I had no clue this was possible 😅

This I relate to almost 100% I've suffered from depression since I was 17. It's such a unpredictable roller-coaster. & having true caring supportive people makes all the difference . If you have a loved one carrying this terrible burden, please know it's highly appreciated & important to them just to have support. Have ones who actually do care. Just simply lending a ear to listen, hand to help, short text of positive words. Just anything but neglected. Unfortunately I no longer have that, & I'm probably at the worse of worse in my illness. I literally dunno any reason why I keep hanging on. Even my kids seem to not care anymore. Depression isn't something to wish upon your worse enemy. It's the bottom of pits. It's like your mind/brain is locked in a prison that u or no1 else has a key to open.

Eliot Coleman says in his book "The New Organic Grower" that his goal was to be a "self-fed" farm. This means no outside inputs. This became my goal. I can tell you that it is possible even if you have a small acreage. We only have rabbits right now, a huge compost pile and leaves from trees which feeds our 1 acre garden. Corporations have not necessarily made things better unfortunately. Love the metal raised bed.

I couldn't get a definitive answer on herbicides when I bought some straw bales for mulch, so I planted some beans in a pot and put the straw on top. Then I watered through the straw until they sprouted. No distorted leaves so the straw was OK. It's worth taking that extra time to test!

I inquired about a “free load of horse manure for garden “. Was in the neighboring town. I asked the person giving it away if it was safe and she said absolutely. Then I asked her where she got her hay. Then I asked her to ask the person who supplied her if it had herbicides in it. In the next day or so she told me” he puts some on but very little. It won’t hurt your garden”. I did not get that load of manure but from it I learned that when I get manure I start with small amounts and take it to a safe place in the yard and let it sit before slowly introducing any plants to it. That way it’s not going to kill everything I worked for.

No need to be down! You just described my EXACT soil: rocky and clay, and you know I get a decent harvest. Get some 10/10/10 and you'll be fine 💜 Also, if you need any coffee advise: hubs was a barista for 7 years. He grinds his own from whole bean and uses a French press. Amazon has whole bean for decent prices.

@CargillHouseАй бұрын
@KristyLeeVlogs you have to play around with how much of the grounds to put in (to your personal liking), but I know he heats 2 cups of water in the microwave for 4 minutes, adds the grounds to the press, pours the hot water in, let's steep for 4 minutes, then gently presses down the "stick" thing and pours into his mug.

I didn’t realize my ex was depressed until we were breaking up. I had done everything wrong and it was too late to save our relationship. Now that we have broken up, I want to be a support in the right way but I don’t know if that’s ok or not. I’m not concerned about getting back together. I just want him to know someone believes in him and someone is cheering for him. Should I do that or should I back away as the ex?

I don't think there's a clear-cut answer I could give you. I think it definitely depends on your particular situation. If your ex is open to it, then you can try!

@KristyLeeVlogs2 ай бұрын
No, I took it for a few years and got off it. I found a job that worked really well with my anxiety. I was delivering flowers. My boss has dealt with anxiety, so he was very understanding when I had to call in on a bad day. I'm still working for the same company, but he's moved me to a different position with more responsibility, and he's trying to get me to run the shop. It's not going well, unfortunately, and it's making my anxiety worse. I need to get insurance to get back on my medication, but this job doesn't offer it, and my pay is so low that I can't afford it on my own. I wish I could offer you more than that. I'm still doing better than I was before, but I wish I was better.

I was scared of the meds, too. And I held off for a long time because I didn't want to "have to" take something. But I finally got tired of it. It took some trial and error to find the right kind of meds for me. But it was worth it. I will note that it wasn't a miracle cure, but I definitely felt more balanced (mentally) instead of feeling like I lived on a roller coaster.

Just came across this video and it's title interested me. I have had a yt channel since 2011 and had similar aspirations to you. The desire to work online only and be apprieciated by millions has been drilled into our heads for many years. Everyone wants attention from others. What I learned is that's it's only when you give yourself the attention you want and not care about "success" (like you mentioned) that things will change. So frustrating I know, but totally true. You are courageous to admit what you have in this video. I hope you find clarity and peace in your future. I found being tired/sleepy was actually overwhelm.
@KristyLeeVlogs2 ай бұрын
I think you're right (about everything but, specifically, the overwhelm). I'm naturally a lower energy person, and I kept pushing harder, trying to be more and more productive. I thought that was the key to success, but it's not sustainable. At least not for me. Thank you for your comment. I already feel better having cutback even just a little. Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment 💜

Hey lady, it seems like we're on the same page. We're also scaling back on certain things in the garden and planting more of what we eat and restrategizing. It's nothing compared to your plant inventory! We're doing less tomatoes (we have a ton of canned tomato items), more carrrots (I love them spicy pickled), and we're using the seeds we have. I admire your contentment with life. Hearing you say you have all you need right in front of you choked me up. We, as himans, always want more and more, but there's peace in accepting your life and circumstances for what they are. It's fun to dream once in a while, though. Sending love always 💜

I'm feeling much more confident in my abilities, lol. I think maybe a lot of people are thinking along these same lines. Why are we trying to make things so complicated, lol. Also, I've never tried spicy carrots, that sounds interesting! Hope you all are doing well, love you girl!
@CargillHouse2 ай бұрын
@KristyLeeVlogs anytime you want a crash course in canning: I gotchu! I've been doing it for about 10 years now. I started with pickled items because pressure canning (for low acid foods) was very intimidating! I'd love to talk soon 💜 I add dried Thai chilies to the jar when I pickle my carrots. I will also add (1 tsp/pint, I think) of sambal.
