I grew up with a lot of cowboys. I can't think of a lot of specific "cowboy" sayings that are more universal, but my absolute favorite thing I've ever heard from a real old cowboy was when he complimented someone else. He said, after a coworker had used a new tool to complete a tricky task, "Scott, you're handier than pockets on a shirt." And I will go to my grave with that being one of my favorite sayings ever.

That sounds like Texan phrases. Once my ex looked at me and said "mmmmm baby, you're just finer'n frog fur. An' that's fiiiiine!!" 😁 If I called him at the studio (he was a record producer) to ask how his day was going, I frequently got "Mmmm baby I'm just busier'n a one legged man in a butt kickin contest!" 😂

I agree that it sounds like a Texan phrase. Please do not ask why chickens in socks are dumb and roosters in socks are sexy. I'm unaware of why that is fact, I just know that it evidently is. :P

Danessa Myricks is a high end makeup brand that is really aimed at makeup artists That’s why it has the meh packaging bc it goes really well in artists kits kinda like MUFE

I also would prefer cheaper packaging because her stuff is really expensive to make so if the packaging was fancy it would really bring up the price by a decent amount and I’d rather not pay an excessive amount I just want the good makeup

Just FYI with those who wanted to try Scent Bird, it's difficult to cancel a subscription. I just tried getting my first month and they automatically subscribed me to a monthly box. I'm trying to have them cancel the automatic subscription but you have to email customer service, so it's not an easy process.

i feel like if you ever needed to livestream, you should do an unboxathon for however long you'd need! Then maybe to get a normal video out of it, try to do a full face of randomly selected products from the boxes? Have a great day!!

I think the Random Roundup videos are my favorites, it kinda feels like watching someone open random presents they received and shoved in a closet (for some reason lol) and we all get to see what mysteries are inside. I’m a huge fan of Modern Renaissance though so I don’t mind those color stories and I don’t think they’re similar enough to be like if you have the abh one, you don’t need these. The ace and lawless ones were so pretty to me, and I think the ciate London one I liked was also referred to as Modern Renaissance in that video, but I feel like they’re all different and I kinda want at least one 😂 but rn I have my eyes on a few Sigma palettes and a lot other things, makeup and non-makeup, so I really don’t have the mental or financial capacity to want anything else 😅

the “blue light from your pc screen” claim is unfounded but i believe there is also blue light omitted by the sun’s rays! can’t remember if you mentioned the brand specifically marketed it toward the unfounded claim but yeah…. i don’t know where i’m going with this. fun video! it’s satisfying to see that you’re digging into your package stockpile :)

*ALEXANDRIA!!* we have similar skin tones and my FAV highlighter of all time (from an Ipsy YEARS ago) is the Ciaté Good To Glow… it’s the PERFECT shimmery pink-tone without looking like a disco ball! I still use it daily but it def can be built up for fancier occasions! (Weddings)

Talc is fine, the issue is asbestos which is often formed in the same places talc is mined. Asbestos in makeup comes from low-quality sources of talc. And - Danessa Myricks is a very expensive and sought-after brand!

Here's an idea, every other week or so you should try a new makeup look that you would never do irl. You could get inspo from popular aesthetic or celebrities ect. It would be so fun to see you get out of your comfort zone, even if it doesn't turn out good 💜
