What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be unboxing, testing, and giving my initial review of the GREENWORKS Pro 3000psi Electric pressure washer. I sold my craftsman 3200psi gas pressure washer and switched to electric so I wanted to see if the electric alternative can handle my day to day projects. So far, it has some great.

Thanks for putting a detailed video together. The greenworks website does not have enough information on how to use the machine for beginners but this video is very good and is exactly what I was looking for.

Saw quite a few reviews on the GW Pro 3k & your video is hands down the best! You did Vinyl Siding, the deck, & the foam canon - not to mention going thru the different nozzles and everything else Really appreciate you demonstrating on vinyl siding, wood deck and foam canon. One thing, I think you would get better results with the foam cannon without using the wand. Just connect the foam cannon to the handle.

Great video! It helped me make up my mind as I have been researching electric pressure washers for a while now. I just went to Lowes and bought one of these Electric Green Works 3000 PSI pressure washers. Does just what I need it to do around the house. I work as a professional mechanic and have used many gas operated pressure washers over the years. I hate messing with trying to get a gas operated pressure washer running that has been setting for six months with bad gas in it. That is why I was wanting to go electric for just using around the house, you can't go wrong with this Green Works 3000 PSI for the money. It does everything I need it to do around the house and then some.

Thanks for this review. I was about to order one of these exact power washers online then I said to myself let me see if anyone put an unboxing video on youtube and found this one. from your video I learned a lot. I learned that I can pick one up at lowes and have it today instead of waiting a week, and I love the way it cleans in your video. I learned how to put it together out of the box. I did not want to get gas because its a pain to deal with. I rather lose a little power for the extra convenience. in the past I had a toro gas snow blower that would not start when I needed it in a snowstorm. so I got the toro battery operated one and it starts every time and it is very powerful it even breaks through ice with the metal propeller and I can keep it indoors it is fantastic. so I don't mind giving something up for extra convenience. Thanks for posting this video. I subscribed to you. I like your videos.

Great video. I was on the fence between the 2700 and the 3000. I am definitely gonna get the 3000. I also loved your quick fix on the wand holder. Thanks again for the video it was a BIG help.

Nice video 👍 Can you make a comparison video between your foam cannon vs the built-in soap dispenser? Just wanted to see how big of a difference (soap usage vs amount of foam) is between the two, and whether if it's worth spending the extra dollars to get an actual foam cannon.

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Any reason why you didn't uncoil the pressure hose and used while it was coiled up? I'm pretty sure that would make a difference in power as opposed to the blue pressure line being uncoiled and in straight line? I just ordered one Yesterday and it has the power button in the middle? Did they somewhat changed it up a bit? I would think the power button in the middle would make more sense as you can reach it centered from either side.

An auto ON/OFF switch should extend the life of the pump significantly and has nothing to do with the size (PSI or GPM) of these small pressure washers.

Bought one and after trying it on cement to clean some spots and tire marks I boxed it back up. Besides it quitting a bunch of times, Tripping a cb,overheating and shutting down and literally doing a poor job. I wanted an electric unit and compared this one with the Ryobi version and bought the Greenworks on this and other sites recommendations. Don't waste your money. At best it's good for washing your car and would consider this a light/medium duty unit. Going back to gas..

I agree, a gas pressure washer is always more powerful. However, if you want/need a powerful electric power washer, there is not many that have the specs of this washer.

I understand. Maybe you just got a bad unit? You also have to be careful plugging it in to an extension cord or outlet that a shared. Either way, sorry it didn’t work out for you.

Idk I got the 2700psi ryobi and it’s borderline strong enough to blast the concrete,deck,etc that’s without chemicals. But a lot of people try to misuse pressure washers as a stripper and that’s not how you use them. You have to buy the proper chemicals to clean whatever it is your cleaning. Spray let it sit then blast it off not strip the entire surface off like a lot of people do.

Awesome man. I just recently received mines and I have to assemble it and give it a try. I feel a bit better now with my choice after watching your video. I’ll be using it for basically similar purposes around the house and washing my truck. Someone had mentioned that it’s best if you used it on a dedicated 20amp circuit. Have you had any issues with it tripping a shared breaker?

Yeah I tripped it one time but I was using an extension cord that was plugged into a power strip. It tripped on the pressure washer plug breaker not the wall. Once I moved it to a wall outlet with nothing else, it was fine.

I'm thinking about getting the 3K PSI over the 2300 PSI BUT first I'm going to Lowes to do a side by side comparison, #1 to see if the hose and wand are the same. At 6' I would like a long wand with a flexible hose. The bottom line is the 3K worth the extra $100. ?? .. I would like to see others reply to your 'Thoughts' post. BTW as for the ' total stop system' The 2300 reviews I watched the motor dosen't stop, only the RMP are lower when you are not spraying

I would like to buy one of these but my concern is will it work on a 15amp plug without tripping the breaker. What are you plugged into?

I think my garage outlets are on a 15-20amp breaker but I’m not 100% sure. I ended up giving this to my Dad as I got a really good deal on a Dewalt gas pressure washer.

Which tip do you recommend for washing your car?

I use different tips for different reasons. I don’t use the jet stream but I rotate between the different degrees. If I have to clean off more mud, I use the narrow tip for more power. If it’s a dusty car, I may use the wider fan tip.

The wand holder is always mentioned as a poor design in reviews. Any difference between the Lowes and Bestbuy version? The hoses are different colors?

Don’t think so. As long as they are the same unit, same psi, same length hose, etc., I assume the same.

How well does the onboard foam dispenser work?

Most onboard soap dispensers are sub par and are a pain to clean. I use a foam cannon or just an old school bucket.

The ryobi has a terrible stiff hose with memory which makes a tangled mess. So you have to consider paying money for a new hose on the ryobi.

I have had multiple pressure washers and the hoses on each one all suck. I’d always suggest getting a new flexible hose.

Is the machine running to build up pressure? If not, you can still spray water you just won’t have pressure. Check your plug to see if you tripped the plug breaker?

It dont matter what psi electric pressure washer you get. 3000psi just aint enough psi when you are cleaning concrete. Sure you can do it but it is very tidious to clean concrete with these electric pressure washers. Electric power washers are good for light to medium cleaning. Washing your car, deck furniture, some wood decks. But when it comes to cleaning pourous concrete and the like 3000 psi jist aint enough to do it in a reasonable time

They are never what they say. Usually 200 to 300 less. The way these companies measure the psi is on the initial trigger pull, not the sustained use pressure

@@JoshThompson25 actually that's not true for most, if not all, of Greenworks pressure washers; they're certified by a third party that verifies the claimed PSI
