Haha, I'll try not to unless it becomes unhealthy. I wish we were able to cover more, but this hobby can be pretty expensive as you know. Congrats on grabbing 2 Mace Windus as well! I finally caved and picked up a second preorder for Kit Fisto. It felt strange leaving him out of the Clone Wars line up. Thank you for watching and we appreciate the kind words! 🙏🍻

Excellent review mate! Think I was a lot more forgiving of the headsculpt in my review but in doing so I over-hyped it just cos I was excited to get it at the time 😅 Your reveiw is a lot more balanced and a fairer reflection of the figure tbh 👊🏻 Thanks for sharing! 🙌🏻

Thanks, man! And it's all good. If you enjoy it that's really all that matters. I think it's one of the reasons a lot of us enjoy watching your content. It's the fun it brings to seeing you open a new figure and just appreciating it without holding it to high standard. Something I'd say only you cover right now and extremely well. Although, that could be a spin off for more content if you wanted to. A follow up series if you will! Awesome review dude, I too threaded my cable through the tunics its a much cleaner look however I used the one that clamps to the stand cause I didnt wanna risk damaging the belt.

I think it’s the expression that’s what’s throwing the headsculpt off. They gave him an intense thorough brow and squinted eyes, which I think that’s the problem. Also they couldn’t give him moving eyes because they made the neck and head 1 piece, which made it impossible to incorporate the movable eyes. But it makes no sense because black Adam was announced before him and he was bald, but on him they made the neck and head separate, which made it possible. Padme and Anakin were announced around the same time as mace and padme’s neck and head were separate and she had moving eyes. They could’ve easily made the head and neck separate and give him moving eyes.

💀💀 Hope you like him and we didn't rain on your excitement. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, and that's all that matters. EP III Palpatine would be a great choice considering we have two different announcements sandwiching that appearance. Maybe one day. Only thank me, I'm the real talent. 🤫😄

Completely agree with you... I love it, but it could have been Epic if that Head sculpt was on point..... what could have been.

It's a decent figure, but it feels more like a shelf stuffer. After the review, I haven't really looked at him again. Although typing this out made me look, lol! I'm currently posing Darth Vader which is strange after a new release. It's a weird feeling to spend that much money and not feel much.

Let's go! Listen, we try our best, we try our best. This was probably one of the more difficult portraits to film, because it almost appeared different in each clip. Lighting and angles changed it almost 80% of the time. Unfortunate. Thanks for watching, man! 🍻

BC have I told you that you're production is absolutely phenomenal (YES EVERY DAY VIDEO!)? The lighting, the close ups the audio are all top notch an help to break down the figures. Much, much appreciated. Great figure, I can not wait. BTW do you think Hot Toys could have added :BAD MF'er" on his saber :)?

Haha, thank you, thank you! A lot goes into it, but it's always a great feeling when it's noticed like that. We're just glad you all enjoy it! 😄 In terms of the etched BMF initials, I highly doubt it. I only pointed it out in case collectors were hoping for it. To be honest, I'm glad it isn't there.

Great review, I just received mine the other day and I get it… the likeness is iffy but this is still a great figure IMO and I’m happy to have it. You’re exactly right about the lighting, when I tried getting pics, the lower light and low angle shots had some likeness.

a revised headsculpt like Tony stank would be a good move from hottoys for us Collecters myself i'll give the sculpt a 7 really dont understand why they not used the Maul magnetized techniq for him aswell for the Pers... overall its gorgeous figure, bro i love your setup review 👌

Thank you! We try our best. Takes a lot of time, but it's worth it. We've showcased a little bit of it behind the scenes for channel members, but it could be a series later on at some point. Something to consider! That's a solid pairing, to be fair. It's an iconic scene and could work with quite a few poses. Like we mentioned, it's a lot of fun to play with! 😄🙏🍻 Thanks for watching!

I’m glad to have the figure and to have Mace Windu finally, but it sucks it doesn’t even look like him. The third party figure was more accurate. Sadly, this is one character I won’t double dip on. This is it for me. This is the Mace that will be on my shelf. Old Ben Kenobi isn’t that accurate either. Neither is farm boy Luke. So, I guess he fits in about the same category as those initial Star Wars figures.

i do think those clone wars hands are just modified off their standard clone ones, with the figures cut for his to be exposed, but yea i think hot toys just kinda phoned this one in, nothing special and nothing that good unfortunately. mace deserved better

I'll have to look at them a bit more closely, because I may have to get a little more creative. Shouldn't have to do it, but here we are. You'd think they go the extra mile since it's Mace Windu, but I guess not. With Padmé getting an upgrade to her hands, I guess I was a bit too hopeful. 😐

@@duncanmcdaniel I’m glad you asked! His robe felt a bit clunky equipped on the figure, so I didn’t think to try it on because of it. It does work though, so if it’s a look you’d like to have you’re all set. 🍻
