It’s prettier and quieter than an Allett Liberty 43, but I’m not convinced its worth an extra £750 for the mower and scarifier combo.

Wow! That thing is a beast! I completely get the excitement lol, I mean what can you say, you’re unboxing one of the coolest things in the lawn care world! Can’t wait to see the thing in action during the summer, I bet this will really help with the low cuts, and that along with the grooming cartridges that lawn’s going to be looking beautiful. 😄 Oh and garden imports, if you want to loan me a Swardman, I’ll happily accept 😂

55cm Electra hopefully arriving in 2 or 3 weeks after ordering from UK imports. Possibly will be the first swardman in Ireland 🇮🇪 cannot wait for the day to arrive after seeing this great video

This thing is like a ferrari in more ways than one! Just don't scratch the paint! You reminded me of myself when trying to work out where to put the grass box so as not to scratch it 😅 I know the feeling of unboxing a new piece of kit like this, when my Allett liberty came I was the same. Not had chance to try it yet as just got the lawn to 40mm with the bosch but early next week I reckon. Weather is looking good too into next week so hopefully we will both be cylinder mowing soon! Looking forward to the next video 😁

Interesting to see Swardman are on their game when it comes to KZfaq exposure of their products. I use an Allett which is great but as a company I think they need to up their game when it comes to promotion of their products. Good work though Matt , nice to get your views on all things lawn! 👍

My only complaint about both the allett and the swardman is that it should be gear to gear instead of belt and pulley

It look better built than Allett, better engineering looking at those cogs, but maybe more prone to crack if it’s a casting. Not sure about the central pillar for the handle. Grassbox more prone to damage and scratching over a plastic box. There is quite a overhang to the one side which could be a problem mowing up close to obstacles and fences. Nicer rear roller than the painted ones on Allett machines, which just peels off over time. I like the wheels on the back making it easier to drive over hard surface. Nice thick blades, look very robust.

The transport wheels are great, the allet also has a similar overhang which I needed to move my edges in for but I found if mow the other direction the overhang goes on the inward facing side if you get stuck. I also like the bedknife is secured along the whole edge, we will see if that makes a difference over time and when I get cutting

Allett should definitely take note on the magnetic side panel. Tool less cartridge change would be fantastic on their mowers.

Thanks for watching, I don't have a discount code unfortunately but with regards to colours there is a standard colour, some upgraded options and then a package to choose from hundreds of other colours. I've seen one online in a full national flag colour scheme. Drop GI UK a call or message if need more specifics Ryan has the details

Enthusing about it far too much before you’ve even tried it. Would like to hear views after you’ve used it. Also long term review; reliability etc. Finally VFM, how does it compare to more reasonably priced quality mowers. No mention of the cost of the complete package you have; it’s significant. Let’s hope the end review is objective 😊

Between £1,995.00 & £2,195.00. Thats crazy for a domestic mower and you don't even get a UK plug.

Sorry but I don’t see the attraction at all. This falls into the more money than brains category. Not only is the mower extremely overpriced,it’s obscenely ugly and an overcomplicated piece of junk that won’t be around 10 years later. I’ll stick with my 1958 Lawn Boy Quietflite mower. Can’t believe all these idiots who want to play with battery operated toys instead of serious power equipment. The only new technology I’d love to see is a time machine so we could go back and escape the shitty cars,culture and products of today.
