Max Mus this is the best choice for the price , if you want to pay a little more you should buy a boss katana 50w and a epiphone les paul standard , which is awesome for the price

The problem with my local area is that the stores unbox everything and they always kept all the goodies themselves. Even though these are all cheap accessories that they probably not even interested in. One time i bought a guitar home and later found out online that it should come with a gigbag and strap. Even the allen key are not given to me. That really sucks!

how much did all those mods cost? is it more effective just to buy a squier and mod? or should I just buy an American made strat?

The mods were like $300, it depends on if you're ok with working on it. I modded a cheap one bc you can customize the parts however you want, but if you arent down to spend hours changing parts, then id say buy a legit fender.

Ah man that was my first electric guitar as well as amp. It was a great beginner instrument. Because it’s so easy to play and it sounds very good for a squier. Especially if you upgrade your amp.

Starman have a problem with my squier stratocaster I just received it and I just downloaded the fender tune app I have a problem with the D string when I try to tune it fender tune recognizes it as string A can someone help me because it's very annoying thank you in advance :)

Chad3k _ buy a clip on tuner (recommend a snark) or buy a tuner pedal (recommend polytune 3) or simply experiment with other apps.. The app isn’t perfect and stuff like that happens all the time (not bashing fender it’s just the truth). The fender app also has the manual tune mode where it’ll play and note and you can match it by ear. First chance you get upgrade to a clip on or a pedal as it makes life immensely easier.

I wish he had addressed the volume and tone knobs, particularly since the amp has the same controls. It would be helpful for beginners to know which levels to set and in what order.

I bought one used for less then 100 dollars and after some basic mods like a bone nut and new volume pot and pickup switch it’s amazing And the tremolo now stays I’m tune and it’s great. Squier makes great guitars for the price

I have many Squires as well as Fenders. I find that a easy way to get the clear plastic off thr pickguard is to take off the knobs using a pick or piece of string then unscrew the the pickguard screws a little. You can even do this with the strings still on.

@@sophievr8750 got a long way to go, but I’m progressing nicely. Got a few riffs down and learning some other of my favorite riffs. The guitar is gorgeous and sounds amazing. The amp is a perfect beginner size/sound as well. Fender Play definitely helped kick start me. The lessons are easy to follow and thoroughly explained. Definitely recommend the pack for newbies like myself. And for sure check out Fender Play if you aren’t a noob cause it even can help experienced players as well. Truly caters to all talents at any stage of playing the guitar.

@@irixval honestly the amp is good. It has a solid sound. Granted in my 1bdr apt. Eventually I’m going to go bigger and get a better amp but I don’t need all that yet. If it’s within your budget, shoot for a better amp. But for just gettin started, the whole package is solid bang for buck. No complaints here.

I have an affinity Stratocaster Squier it is awesome I don't know if they all come like this but this one was built perfectly they did the Frets ends everything it's just nice it's it's like a 600 $800 guitar I love it

They are all don't come perfect, it's luck of the draw. Nothing a good setup can't correct. I bought an affinity Tele a few years back that has the nicest flame maple neck. Plays just as nice at it looks. Definitely won the lottery on that one.

@@Satan-Is-a-Lawyer The amp is actually pretty good, I saw people complaining about the drive channel, well, it really isn't the best but for it's price it's pretty sufficient and you can have fun with it. On clean it sounds great. It's really a great amp for home practice for this amount of money, and that was what I wanted it for so I'm happy with it ☺️

Good solid informative video. Good solid guitar - If you want to buy an inexpensive new guitar, it's pretty darn hard to beat an Affinity Strat or Tele. To any beginners out there who buy this - when you get more money, upgrade the amp before you upgrade the guitar. The guitar is pretty decent.

throw a Celestion 8 15 into the amp and it sounds MUCH improved. don't forget you'll need slightly bigger connectors than the originals to match the larger speaker terminals...

Just bought mine today at guitar 🎸 center. That was the last one they had for guitar packs. Dude try to get me to buy an expensive guitar. I told him several times im on a budget. He said he's a beginner too and doesn't recommend that fender affinity squier stratocaster. He said its not good. I'm trying hard to decide between this pack or a squier standard strat and a fender mustang GT40. I've heard some bad things about this amp. What would be best for me? It'll be my first guitar.
