I like how laid back old IGN reviews are. Or maybe this is just Greg Miller's style. It feels like just a friend talking to you about a game. The tone is very casual and friendly.

I just finish all 4 of them in two weeks Man all I gotta say one of the best games I've played in my life now I'm officially an uncharted fan.

No one knew how far this series would come. I recently finished Uncharted 4 and I'm sad that it's the last one 😭.

I love Uncharted series, but so much patience is required to finish the first one. I mean, the voice acting, the graphics, the soundtrack and all the "movie elements" were great back then, and still are even now, but the "game factor"... oh, God... I get sick every time with the infinite hordes of pirates. The whole gameplay experience resumes itself on "shoot & cover, climb, shoot & cover, shoot & cover, climb, shoot & cover". I'm glad Uncharted 2 brought the campaign that series deserved.

This game is pretty repetitive. Overall I really enjoyed it, but the combat isn't something to write home about, and there are swarms of enemies around almost every corner.

I played the 1st one a few weeks ago and I'm near the end of 2 and on not sure why everbody says 1 is bad I love it just as much as 2 the only problem is you mostly are on the island and I like the variety of 2 but one is great

man its so weird coming back to this game 9 years later and seeing how outdated it looks and plays after finishing Uncharted 4. still a classic but wow the evolution of the game mechanics and graphics over time have done this series so much justice.

The first game I got with my PS3, this was such an amazing experience, the characters, story, game play, visuals, everything about this game was beautiful. I hope if I ever get a PS4, the first game I get with it will be just a impressive as this one.

Would prefer a total new game but, if they are remaking the last of us, they should remake this first.

Just finished my first ever play through, very good game to start the franchise and its incredible when you remember this came out in 2007 !!, if it was 2007 i'd give it a 9 but in 2016 it's still a strong 8/10

tbh i thought it was boring, especially the gun fights but it did get interesting 3/4 way through. what annoyed me were the stupid boat missions,where you have to dodge explosive barrels while getting shot. i hope 2 and 3 is beter.

This game is so underrated I love the first uncharted its personally my favorite even with the older dated graphics but the Nathan Drake Collection will hopefully fix that and other issues

Just picked up an Uncharted Dual Pack and I'm lookin' forward to trying the first two Uncharted games. I know I'm late to the party, but I'm going to see if they live up to what everyone says they are.

I love the way in the pre "spoiler alert" days reviews just flat out told you how the end of the game works, and shows a lot of footage from the close of the story.

I'm thinking of getting this but i've never completed a game before (I suck pretty bad) but would you recommend gettting this game if you've never completed something before?

thanks man.... after playing tomb raider i was so annoyed by those puzzles.... thanks , i like its graphics combat system and ign gave it 10 .. only that puzzle problem was troubling me... well thanks again..and are there any combine packs containing all three in one pack ?

Never had played any of the Uncharted games. Got the trilogy recently & am halfway through Drake's Fortune, till now I love it, especially the combat. It's so hard and consistent it leaves me wanting to engage in combat all the time.

Are the controls really smooth or are they bulky ? Is it worth 30 dollars for the first and second one ? I told my mom to buy it for me this is the first game ive ever bought outside of call of duty and rockstar games, will i regret it.

I really love this game too ^^ It makes me happy, as the characters has such great personalitys and, yes, they feel real! It also has loads of humor in it, you can´t stop yourself from laughing at a couple of times. Man, I just hope that Naughty Dog doesn´t forget that it was the story, climbing, characters and movie feeling that made Uncharted into a Lara-killer, not the shooting moments.

This game may not have the best graphics but its level and design is beautiful. Come on the last fight scene looks amazing

Hey guys I love part 2 and 3 but haven't played Drakes fortune. Is this game any good? I mean it looks as though the whole game is played in just 1 setting - the jungle. Is their a variety of settings?

i finished this game today on my Ps4 and man hell yeah its realize why we love nathan drake and uncharted and kids today will never know how hard games used to be

i've never played this, is it any good? i'm contemplating getting the double pack.

For a 2008 title, Uncharted is good. There are some things that bug me, like your controller doesn't vibrate when you shoot.. so guns don't have that power or feel to them. Wave after wave of generic pirates can be brutal. With a very tiny target scope and no enemy tracking system, aiming and hitting your targets can be very difficult. Also there is no stealth in this game. If you even try to sneak up on an enemy, another enemy from miles away will spot you, thus triggering a shootout. AI are to smart. Not only will the enemies flank you and constantly barrage you with grenades to smoke you out of cover, but they will shoot you in the back if you try to retreat to recover your health. (You will die a lot) I love the platforming, the environments, the music, the voice acting and character design. But what is up with Drakes jump animation? It's soooo awkward and is literally the weakest jump I've seen from any video game character. The jump feels like Nate is wearing armor. For 2015, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune gets a 7/10 from me.

My opinion: Uncharted (PS4) -hopefully combines it´s predecessor´s epicness to a 10/10 Uncharted 3 -epic game, just felt like these set-pieces were thrown together Uncharted 2 -epic game, the multiplayer is inferior to Uncharted 3´s multiplayer though Uncharted 1 -felt like it was a beta without bugs, like Naughty Dog was testing something new, but still fun

Three words to describe this game: PIECE, OF, SHIT.

When I played this game back then it was amazing, nothing compared! Of course its outdated now but back then it was great, and so were u2 and u3. This game already brings me nostalgia.

"So yeah 8 hours, that might of scared you off a second ago". Crazy how times change in 9 years, to think back then 8 hours was a short length for a game where as today you'd be lucky to get that now.

I'm 3/4 in the game, still playing. So far, graphics are inevitably dated and has horrible screentearing. Sound and music is the best thing I guess, very good. Story is a bit cheesy but the characters are interesting enough. But the gameplay is so fucking bland. The crappy shooting and scripted climbing sequences are what I'd expect from a low budget 6th gen licensed game. 6/10

Love the fact that everyone has their own opinion of this game. U1 brings a lot of fond memories when my PlayStation3 was still new. Sure it might be dated now, but back in the day, man oh man was this game spectacular. And the musical score? It just puts you there. Plus the acting was top-notch.

Playing this for the first time and its kinda terrible. I don't know what my opinion would have been if I played this closer to when it released but it definitely feels like it hasn't aged well. The story and characters are pretty cheesy and the gun play is god awful, its seriously some of if not the worst gun play I've ever experienced. I feel like I would have enjoyed it more if it were strictly an adventure/puzzle game and they scrapped the gun play altogether. The game is way to linear and the environment are as bland as a bread sandwich. I'm struggling to understand what people like about this game. I came into it with high hopes after completing the tlou but I was severely let down. I seriously can't think of one good thing about this game.
