It was a bit eerie to not see another car or person the entire time we were at Penn Roosevelt. It could be different in nice weather or in the summer months. There was a lot of rain during our visit to this park of the state, so I think that is why the water was raging at both of the parks.

Definitely a cool place to visit. That water is flowing very well. Ice fishing would be cool, bear not so much 😆 It's nice that there's no one in your space while you're exploring, but kind of eerie that there is absolutely no one else around. Are there bear there too? Maybe the bear got them 😕Yeah if I Jessie sees a snake, he's out. He'll be gone so fast that you wouldn't even see him leave lol. Nice that there's camping at that one. I don't care for walk in sites. We have our "kitchen" in the back of our hummer. Kind of need/want it close when we tent camp. Great review of both parks.
@hikingoutdoorfamily
@hikingoutdoorfamily Ай бұрын
Yes, I do get that eerie feeling sometimes when there is no one else around. Yes, both parks we visited would have black bears, but you really don't see them much if people probably store their food and trash while camping. I guess walk in sites appeal to someone, but for me it makes it difficult to carry all the stuff we need from the car. I prefer just being able to pull my car up close to the site and leave it there. Have a good weekend!
