Understanding Instrument Approach Procedure Minimums

On every instrument approach plate is a section that tells pilots what the minimums are for this approach. If the conditions are below minimums, sometimes you have to go missed. Other times, you aren't allowed to even start the approach.
But how do you know which rule(s) apply when so that you can stay safe and legal?

Watching tons of Air Crash Investigation videos about crashes that resulted from pilots descending below minimums engrained a huge respect/fear of DA/MDA's for me that have stuck with me since!!

302 and 409 are also called height above touchdown (HAT). It doesn’t have anything to do with precision or non-precision but rather straight in approaches.

I'm all about VFR and GA. However executives like the King Air series, caravan, kodiak etc. Up to twin otters and such, are the ones that attract me career-wise, i.e. charter company types. So these things are much more applicable for me to learn about. As always, thank you for your time and effort helping out with all these videos!
