I'm thinking PD is brought on by an exposure.

6:13 Average onset is 10 years after movement symptoms, yet, average life expectancy is 7 years?? Does not compute. Is it, 7 years AFTER PDD started?

That is is unclear - Yes, the studies suggest that average life expectancy is 7 years after the dementia symptoms have started in someone with Parkinson's.

@@jameslwest1 Thank you for answering! Can I ask further question? When you say "after the dementia symptoms have started," is that actual dementia, or MCI included? Ty

@@sunahamanagai9039 The studies say after dementia symptoms, which generally doesn't include MCI. However, this is a very individualistic disease and should be closely assessed and monitored by a trusted doctor and consider the whole person. Hope this helps!
