What is wrong with arresting people who are indirectly linked to "supporting" Amritpal? At 17:00, you clearly mention the central government are targeting people who not related to Waris Punjab de. Do you have any proof with your statement? If journalists,students are supporting a separatist movement or speaking in support of the separatist sentiments - there is nothing wrong with arresting them. A state needs to be safe and secure, the Ajanala incident gave every right to the central/state government to act in safety of the people.

So you are talking everything about the topic except the meat of the issue. You are not clear on what narrative is being fed to us and what is the ground truth. You never explain what were the promises made in 1947 and 1984. You do not explain the points. All the Punjabis who have language familiarity may be got more from this conversation, but I got very little.

He seems intelligent engliah accent speaking guy.... but why he misses issues like rampant Christian conversion in Punjab of Sikhs? Also treatment /forced conversion of sikh sisters in Pakistan? He is vry gud intellectual... May b he can answer why in ths many yrs of Khalsa movement Lahore or Nankana Sahib Peshawar never figured in thr map.... In all othr cases he goes bk to wht was thr in 18th century during Aluwalia jis or Mahraja Ranjit singhs rule... Thn why these points r conveniently missed? Is he tht naive intellectual? What I understand is the people in punjab are not satisfied with the unfair treatment they have gotten so far from the national government regarding water distribution and employment opportunities for the rural Punjabi community.Also regular folks are simple minded and do not understand crooked ways of Indian system. Sikhs are very emotional people when it comes to guru sahib which is hard to understand for regular Indians. All Sikhs are tied up in a Panth and feel the pain of our brothers in Punjab. Most problems can be solved if we follow the path shown by the Gurus.

As this is a channel on Sikhi It would have been better if you talk in Punjabi so that Less educated people can also understand. You yourself are not promoting Sikhi culture and language: gurmukhi and punjabi

Majority of Sikhs don’t want Khalistan. Our Sikh politicians are opportunistic and have sold their soul. The central government wants to encourage communal violence, it is serving their agenda. , as in the past . Punjab issues are to be addressed, they are not just Sikh issues they are Punjabi issues. The situation is such that if today’s average Sikhs were going to get a state , it should be called Shrabistan., since unfortunately Sikhs who are not supposed to drink alcohol are known for being hard drinking.

If you want to be in politics, then start a political party and contest along with rest of political parties. If you want to practice your cult (Sikhi, Panth) then stick to just that. Your claim of a so-called homeland of Sikhs because your so and so had established a ‘raj’ is just another pipe dream. Before your so-called ‘raj’ the same region had other Indian empires dating back thousands of years. So, if anyone, then it is the descendants (Hindu) of those who have been living there before Nanak was even born. It is their homeland or ancestral land. If you are trying to draw some teachings from your Granth, there is no point as Nanak himself was a very confused person.
