Undertale Yellow: Pacifist Backtracking

Like in Undertale, completing an area in Undertale Yellow during the Pacifist Route will cause various enemy NPCs to appear throughout the overworld. Shop Keepers also gain new dialogue, as well as certain overworld NPCs. This video only includes back tracking content you can experience right before the game's final boss, so it doesn't include the Dark Ruins or Martlet dialogue (or Martletless dialogue in the case of Oasis Valley). And of course, no neutral content is included either.

0:34 I think this is the devs trying to say they planned/plan on adding more, but they are currently exhausted from the 7 year development, and we’ll have to wait a long time before it’s finished. He says it’s real tiring to mine the boulder (make the game) and we should be patient.

I'm not sure if they're 'trying' to say anything. I suspect they're just one-off jokes. An update that adds some new side content would be pretty cool though.

24:50 I love that the devs put so many references about the game's development into the game itself. None as obvious as the sapling. Literal years of hard work finally blossoming into UTY. Really hope this game inspires more people to make similar ones with the same level of quality.

DUDE ISTG I SAW DALV'S LETTER AND REALIZED: "oh, i should go see how he's doing, i forgot to last time." AND HE IS WEARING THE SWEETEST LITTLE PUFFY SWEATER EVER- THEN HE SAYS "do for them what u did for me" and "i wish you all the luck in the world!" AND I ACTUALLY CRIEDDDDD. After star dies Ceroba will ask you about his whereabouts and then she'll go to check his house.

You technically missed one. Despite being innaccessible, the chef enemy from the Steamworks has some dialougue in the pacifist route, like the other bots. He explains that his French accent is because monsters used to have similar accents like humans throughout the world, before getting sealed underground. I know you can't access him, but it's cool this dialougue exists.

@@TheDuckyDino Really? I thought enemy npcs didn't spawn in the neutral route, but I never bothered checking, so I may be wrong.

@@hecate7 you can only encounter Sousbourg in the neutral route, so it would literally be impossible to encounter him otherwise. Enemy’s will appear in the overworld as long as you didn’t kill any in their area, so he appears if you spare every enemy in Steamworks after killing at least one in a prior area.

Yes, they’ll appear as long as you didn’t kill one or more of the monsters in their area
