Really interesting clips. Could you just explain to me about the tackle, bait and method being used. What is the white coloured bait? What is the black objects just above them? In one of the later clips, the bait looks like the rear half of a (UK) mackerel. Why is the rig moving on the seabed? Is that the boat moving naturally? Are you doing that with the rod? Sorry for all the questions but I’d like to understand fully what I’m seeing. All the more because it’s so good to have those underwater shots showing us stuff we would otherwise never see

No problem at all Martin happy to answer questions im using flasher circle hooks 4/0 size, one of the clips I'm using squid for bait and pilchards on the other we are doing a slow drift to cover more ground the bouncing up n down is the boat going over the swell as we are fishing in the ocean flathead are ambush fish and like moving baits simple paternosta rig with a 4 ounce lead on the bottom this was filmed at a depth of 35 meters

Sand whiting and red spot whiting there were bigger ones in the un edited footage I just kept the flattie stuff plus I didn't hook up to any
