You just explained something I have been struggling with in landscapes I have been trying to do with distance/no reflection in the water. Kept trying to put reflections in and it never looked right. Now I know why! Thank you for that and I love your rocks!

Since I live on a beach, I’ve done rocks before. I’ve used a little different approach, but now I’m inspired to do this method! My challenge seems to be to make rocks look like a rock and not a potato.😊

Hello Shelley, I’m very grateful for your videos that I watch from France. You’re very generous and your explanations and demos are so clear and interesting. Could you please one day do a demo that deals with a light and dark background on wet paper. Like those in nature, in a forest or a garden for instance, we can see dark areas and very luminous ones at the same time in the background. I don’t know how to manage with contrasted values on wet.
