As a yoruba guy, i wanna see this is Akwa ibom and calabar and maybe some skyscraper hotels because over there they have nothing and the beaches are still very well put togeether in comparison ro lagos.

This Koko beach resort is owned and established by a Nigerian called Richard Shittu, it wasn't built by the federal government or the Lagos State Government! While the Ibeno beach is unmatched in its natural environment, it can't remotely draw traffic like the beaches in the Lagos area, for now!! This Koko beach resort is so well located and the potential of it to be a money spinner so apparently great , that the famous Hilton Hotel group have signed a partnership agreement with the owner Mr Shittu! I don't know if there are Akwa Ibom investors who might want to replicate this at Ibeno beach, but it's fair to leave government out of it! Private enterprise is the way to build and advance economic development and prosperity! Who knows , maybe Mr Shittu and Hilton Hotel group (Curio) might take a look at Akwa Ibom and other locations in the future!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

Very beautiful first class Resort. But I would prefer it as it was over 40 yrs ago, when we spend weekends there. The coconut forest went almost to the waterfront. We rented little huts made from palm fronds to give us shade. Children would sell us fresh coconuts to drink the water. There was smuggled alcohol for sale, whiskey, rum, vodka, champagne, wine etc. each bottle 5 Naira. Swimming in the ocean was only for good swimmers. The surf was quit dangerous.
