Instead he got in Usyk’s way, impeded Usyk, and let Fury survive for 30 seconds bouncing off the ropes until a standing count used up the rest of the round. You don’t get to stumble from rope to rope with the ref literally getting in your opponent’s way, being saved from landing on your arse every time (unless the ref is full of it). I feel fury took the loss well. I seen the post fight interview. Our society has to lighten up on fighters. It's like when they lose people want them to pull a pistol out a blow their brains out. Fury did good. He complimented usyk's performance. He said good fight. So he thought he won. So what. He's fighting he's not keeping score. Plus he grabbed a lot of the early rounds. It's his first loss. That is a hard pill to swallow. As a society we need to learn to calm down and respect both fighters and giving credit where credit is due. Good fight

Yeah, I thought from the 3rd onward it looked like Fury had found his groove, had the measure of Usyk and was really starting to have fun. The body shots were causing Usyk big problems and Fury was frustrating his skill. After the 6th I thought it was a wrap. What a great fight, lived up to the hype and then some.

It's a rule that can hinder or help a fighter depending on the situation and how bad they are hurt but it is a rule none the less and has been around for quite some time.
