That was so lovely… In that thumbnail picture, Isabelle looked so much like late Lady Diane, I think… 😍 It’s a joy to see the bond you have with Gerald, as a brother. My brother and I have always been very close too, but then I lost him when his partner didn’t want to share our parent’s inheritance with me, long story short. It was fun to see Stephanie’s childhood pre-chatelaine photos….And thank you for showing the photo of your father in his younger days as well. After hearing much about him from you, it was nice to create a visual connection with him as someone who was such an important and loved figure in your life. Also have to mention that it’s always a pleasure to see Hanni back as one of Lalande’s charismatic cast of characters.

Stephanie and Gerald……great job on clearing out some clutter. It makes you feel sooo good! I’m doing the same in my house. I made a list and little by little I’m going through stuff. Now Stephanie…….regarding your fathers art supplies, do NOT get rid of them. Put all of his art supplies in a plastic bin…labeled….and at some point in time you or even Phillip may take up painting. That is the kind of stuff to keep. 🐶💙🍷🙏

Fun! I went to a chateau once who had a massive basket with funky hats etc. In it and after dinner with drinks they’d say “ have at it the basket holds your fun self” we all dove in and laughed all night wearing fun attire: put them back and now I add to it when I visit fun fun fun!! 👍❤️

The new china pantry? I never really understood what happened to the old china pantry. Is it going to be the same room? Is it going to have the same hexagonal fixture in the middle of the room? Didn't it come from the Ritz in Paris? Was that a hint about the episode for British Television? Stephanie, why do you do this to me? Clearing out the attic room must have been bittersweet. I suspect that you kept some emotional moments between the two of you. How special to have had each other for the task.❤ Marie, you have this, just breathe. It's going to be perfectly lovely. This will be a Patron Day for the ages. On my wish list of special returns would be Tomas and Jared. Both were so delightful in their own special ways. But there have been so many wonderful individuals at Lalande, it would not be fair to limit the list to two.

They never put the China room into the old dairy room. That room became the Gardeners tea room. ❤ They put one and now a second piece of furniture into the small salon next to the kitchen to start the China room. ❤ The hexagon piece of furniture hasn't made it into the room yet. ❤

What if you make an envelope of the paint colors your father chose for specific paintings, any notes, etc. and attach it to the back so it will always be with it.
