Could you make a video explaining how to release the muscles around the scapula to improve a single scapulas retraction? Rather than the quick fix, the long term fix. Great video though man, clearly explained thanks I will try this.

sometimes it's with anatomical differences because you have unbalanced structure which as a result with long term workout leads to muscle imbalance.... for me I was suffering from scoliosis and always had problem with upper back tightness ..

what did you do?

@@fakecreatinerm9948 Warm up routines to rewire the brain for the movement.. you can follow right wing scapula videos from youtube.. but it may take lot of time to fix and I even had to back out from workout for a month because it had effected the way I used to do push ups .. still it does until this day but it is better then before...

Weirdly enough, widening out the opposite side from the dominant side made my bench press more even after testing all the grips. I have no idea what is going on with me.

@@godoatthegoat2884 I lead with my left arm intentionally and it is ALMOST straight. Still a little right armed dominant, but I have to keep reinforcing this until it becomes second nature.

going through the exact same thing, even consciously forcing up my left more so it SEEMS like left is higher than right. Then when I check the video, the bar is dead even. I'm so confused

My bar is embrassingly uneven when I do incline .. Won't even do it in the gym anymore because of it
@barworkoutCANADA3 жыл бұрын
Is it safe to be benching with one arm slightly wider out? Like for the deadlift it can be said that it might put strain on the bicep and wondering if that would be the case with bench? Thanks!

Definitely a strategy you can use!

I think I have this problem, bar looks imbalanced on the chest when I pause bench.
@slickgamer0072 жыл бұрын
@@Jimlifts1 were you able to fix it? if so, how did you fix it?
@Jimlifts12 жыл бұрын
@@slickgamer007 Its improved a lot. Not perfect. I crank up really tight, butt off the bench, unrack, set my butt on the bench, crank the bar in internally(break the bar.) That tends to help. Also, watching your bar path throughout the whole set you can control more of what you are doing from a mental aspect.
@iammoserdealwithit7097 Жыл бұрын
this may sound stupid but why would i even wanna fix it? i mean sure its safer but only if its out of control. I know mine are a little tilted but i feel perfectly comfortable doingthem like this

my one arm is 1inch shorter than the other one😅 i can even see it on my chest gains on one side which is lagging
@weareeverywhere88513 жыл бұрын
Doesn't this just make things worse? You are now overdeveloping one side of your body as there's more weight distributed there.

Does it also transfer to your low bar squat? My left side is tighter in the bench so i widen my right side with one finger ,but with squat its the opposite. So i narrow my right side more.
