On June 15, 2002, the Union Pacific operated an excursion train from West Chicago, Illinois to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and back. Here, the trin is westbound through Wheaton, Illinois.

holy shit those things fly, they look so scary when they are gong fast becuase there huge size makes todays traisn look small.

@Vorahk3985 Thats so fucking sad man, they are all gone :(. Thats just horrible, they should of preserved atleast 50. I bet they arent even in scrap yards, they were probily all melted down. I wish I could preserve all these old giants.

@@MackeyBigBoy4014 I think you’re little behind the times! It was announced Earlier this year that the Union Pacific had donated 3985 to a group in Illinois that has promised to get her up and running again! So yes we will see the 3985 back on the rails once again where she belongs! I know she needs a heavy overhaul and the group that has took possession of her has promised to get it done and get her back in steam again!
