Schweinsteiger's interview brings up something I've been thinking about for club cohesion: surely a few 1st teamers (not the youngsters in the squad) should train with the youth teams each week to help them gear up to men's level and give reports back to the manager on who has the attitude to survive in the men's game. It'd be great for keeping them fresh too if they miss 1 fitness day per week to do some 5 a side and 7 a side and 11v11 with the youth teams each week. One week it's Bruno, Donny, Malacia; next it's Rashford, Martinez, Amrabat; etc

A comment to the german doctors Schweinsteiger and Louis van Gaal chose together. You gotta look up Müller-Wohlfahrt. He is one of the best Sport Docs that have ever been around. he was the main Doc for Bayern and the German national team for decades. Usain Bolt, American Football and basketball stars flew over to him aside of many football players. So choosing a Doc that you have worked with your whole career, that you trust and that is arguably the best out the for certain injuries is totally understandable. Since his retirement its a major discussion whenever a Bayern player is injured what he would have done and why they should get him out of retirement and so on. So that desision was a no brainer for me. Van Gaal knew the Doc as well from his time in Munich and trusted him. Should have never been a reason for a decsision.
