I just upgraded to stage2 Unitronic this weekend and love it.

I went stage 1+ on my mk6 gti the torque steer is insane up to about 90mph. It's quite the intense ride now. Never had much experience with mild hp and torque on a fwd car and it's pretty fun!

Hey lucas. Got the '15 gti. Got the 93 1+ unitronic tune. Everything else on car is stock. What tune can i do to get the 2 step lag loud bangs. Not the quiet crackles that come with the stage 2.

I know this is an old vid but I like your presentation. I'm finally considering doing a catted downpipe and stage 1 tune on my 2019 gti dsg. I'm not really interested in pops n bangs and I'm also not trying to go for insane power. I'm just wondering if the gains are worth the money expenditure. I've heard the dsg tune is only necessary for state 2, what do you think?

Do you have a recommendation for a tdi mk7 tune to give a smoother shift with alittle exhaust noise but no crackle pop atm i get 38-43 Mpg i don't want to loose much of that but my DSG is erratic in shift point depending on sport or regular like you were saying in normal it would kinda roll over 2 and 3 around 2800-3400 rpm in sport some time she will get close to 4200 before initial shifting.

I just installed stage 2 today, my pops don't really go off as I thought it would. I only got it to pop like 3 times. I was trying it on sport mode and sport/manual.

What's a Unitronic 'Stage 1+'? On their site they only list 1, 2 and 2+ as tunes. I just bought a MK7 GTI w a Stage 2 and turns out I need to de-tune it to 1 to pass my stage emissions (2 shuts off 2-4 OBDll readiness monitors) and if there's a 1+ that's got a little extra over 1 but still keeps all OBDll running I'd love to know about it! Car came w UniConnect and I'm going to purchase the software transfer from Unitronic, think it's $150 bucks. Have zero experience w flash tunes but it looks so easy I'm not concerned about it. Glad I found your channel as I continue to add to this car!

I have a mk3 TT with stage 1 uni, cutting off the mufflers, both res and the 2nd cat (post o2 sensor) and I can make the exhaust pop really nice(and loud) when driving in manual mode with my dsg, especially in 2nd a gear and running the rpm’s to about 3600rpm and slightly letting off the gas. Sounds amazing. Cuz stage 2 pops are just too much imo. and would get annoying for me. That’s why I like how I can do it. I have full control when I use it. :)

Generic map, one map fits all, not all cars are the same, most ecu are now locked so cannot use obd port. Seems a contradictory way of re mapping, you remap the ecu engine tune, then re tune the ecu again for the gearbox, which would alter the remapped engine file to protect the dsg. Excessive pops and bangs WILL eventually kill your cat

Get a cts turbo downpipe if you don’t want to brake the bank, great for the price.. I’m on revo stg 2 and it pops less but feels more reliable to me IG: @floriaan_mk7
