@TheCorvetteBen here is a little tip for you when running engines like this. on the top of that Edelbrock carb, next to the ports for the metering rods and the vent passages for the fuel bowls. i use an Allstar Performance ALL40090 Primer Bottle to fill the bowls with fuel. that way the engine has enough fuel to run and to get fresh fuel up to the carb if it has a mechanical fuel pump. you can also use this trick with holleys and qjets. just fill the fuel bowls through the brass vent tube. also, that engine looks like it was a rebuild that never got used. there was no oil in the pan and none on the main caps or rods. that is unusual unless someone took it apart and cleaned it up, but even then, there is usually oil in the pan from drainage.

Just a tip and info Tip. When you have the oil pan off and engine is down that far, be good time to look at the timing chain, save alot of time and money later on down the road, when its installed in a vehicle, Info. Yes, the aluminum oil adapter was in pickups and trucks for an added oil cooler, you can get a normal spin on pieces off any small block, is the same part. Also the front hole where oil spued out, that is another location for oil pressure gauge on a big block. Keep up the good work, love watching your videos.

Hey Corvette dude. I'm in love with C2 corvettes. I want one but that's never gonna happen. I've lowered my expectations to a C3. How much should I pay for a drivable C3? Bad paint, maybe some cracks, trashed but usable interior and runs and drives with some issues? Oh, and a good title. Ball park me a quick idea. Or anybody else who might happen to read my question.

I may be mistaken but those look like gm performance parts 3/8" heavy duty push rods. They are expensive!

most rv have low miles that is normal they sit a lot u can get from a standard 454 , 450 hp 454 , ls 6 454 small block then if u get the 450 hp they have a 02xx 400r turbo which is good to 800 hp they have 02xx welded on the bell housing last year i got 4 setups from 6,000 to 58,000 miles on them and the engines were the 450 hp with steel crank heavy rods 10,5 to 1 compression high flow heads most rv's will have the paper work in the glove box all are crate engines plus u get twin electric fans oil cooler power steering cooler desert cool radiator and most have the serpentine belt setup best part was i got all 4 for free . like right now after pulling the engine and trans i sold the left over for 2000 buck but i just needed the engine and trans but could have sold it for up to 25,000 but to buy it new it would have cost close to 20,000 for everything i got
