As a new mom, I just discovered this channel and love it! I was feeling so bored and sad with my clothing, it’s hard to find comfortable, breastfeeding friendly clothes that fit my new body shape that don’t just make me feel frumpy and boring. You’ve given me inspiration to experiment with things in my closet, wear them in new ways, and pick up a few new accessories at the thrift store! Already feeling so much more confident and more like myself again in my clothes.

Diana you are the QUEEN of pattern mixing…. Loved the graphic tee shirt outfit…. It’s amazing how by rolling up the sleeves, adding a belt, can change the look of an outfit, takes it from frumpy to modern Styling outfits is a lot of fun, I’m just waiting patiently for the fall weather still in 80s where I live

You are absolutely delightful, fun and have a real talent with color, pattern and textures! I live vicariously through watching you. I’m not suuuuurrrrreeee I could be as creative as you! I obviously need more shoes, scarves and belts! I’ll make a list . . . Yes that’s what I’ll do! We raise Red Devon cows on our very rural farm. So whenever I ‘go to town’ (that’s right) every 10-14 days I use that as an opportunity to wear my understated, basic, simply elegant french styled clothing. So now you know my wardrobe! Ha! Love this series Diana, very inspiring and I'd love to see more! Your blue head scarf with those amazing earrings gave me vibes of "Girl with a pearl earrings but funky and modern"! 😂 I really struggle with putting fun into my wardrobe because I really don't have much weird stuff. I don't thrift (tall plus-sized living in a land of short to average skinny women) so I can only get creative with accessories. Love my scarves, jewelry and crazy footwear!

Interesting observation about the girl with the pearl earring. I see it! I actually think thrifting could work for you because I am a fellow tall girl and I check all the sizes. Though there is definitely less to choose from in plus sizes, usually what is there can be very unique. I've seen a lot of fancy muumuu type dresses in plus sizes and they look great with belts and chunky cuff bracelets. I say give it another try!

@@unblahyourself OK, I'll give thrifting another go. Wish me luck! That said, I took inspiration from you and tried pairing my grey tweed pant suit (wide leg trousers and a somewhat fitted blazer) with a graphic t-shirt... I have one charcoal grey tee with a cartoonish irish wolfhound (my ❤️ breed) that says "Be hairy, not scary"... The cartoon wolfhound has a cherry red collar. I paired my cherry red high heeled Dr Martens with it... OhmyDog, the combination is great! Can't wait for the day that I can rock that at work!

I love how you actually show us how to take a combination that’s “boring and awful and frumpy” to creative, cohesive, and fun! I’ve tended to give up on weird combos in the initial try-on, even though my instincts say it can work. I’m learning from you to keep playing with it until it makes me happy✨

(I went through a pretty intense frumpy phase after having a baby and leaned into it pretty hard for longer than I care to admit, so I am partial to those shalwar pants.) When you put that blazer on? Dayum. That red set turned into a trompe-l’œil jumpsuit and I am living.

@@unblahyourself little Edie has become a style icon. There’s a Barbie…it’s a must see documentary. The movie with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange was pretty good. There is also a spoof with Bill Hader and Fred Armistan that is spot on…but ends much differently.

I love hair scarfs, but I am conscious about cultural styles- some styles worn by white women might be offensive to some people and I agree that some of these styles are not for me. I choose mine from the many others. Thank you for the video ❤

Those tassels don’t go with that collar. They keep hitting it and the collar makes them less obvious. You need a collarless shirt with them.
