That's absolutely true. It's a great glitch that you can only really activate after completing the Operation Anchorage DLC so it sort of files like a mini reward also. Also helps boost your skills to 100 when you have maxed out your skills points and are looking for the last few skill books. Yes, just make sure to have two copies and make sure you get them from different NPCs or places otherwise it may not work.

This works as long as you have the same armor and you have copies of each hat at different conditions. So if you have two hockey masks then they need to be at different conditions.

Hey King, thanks for your question. Although the texture of the armor is the same between Fallout 3 and NV, it's not the same suite. In NV for instance the Stealth field is also removed. Given it's not the same suite this is why the same glitch does not bridge the game. Also, there is a assumption that the Stealth field is responsible for the glitch therefore maybe not having the Stealth field also negates the glitch in NV. I hope that this answers your question. @@TrappedInFallouti may be a year late but perhaps I could do testing. If mods that add a stealth field to the nv stealth suit could maybe make this glitch possible

@davefilmsproduction3439 Tou could certainly try it and see what happens. Both games run off the same game engine so if you can replicate condition in NV like on 3, it should work for the most part.

Its cross platform so it should work on both PC and consoles.
