Something else you can do: Add oval insert . I noticed that aperture in 1.8 is not opening fully, so i decided to open the back and remove one of the aperture ring stoppers, and now the lens goes before 1.8, which i believe is F1.4-1.6

He is the exact carbon copy of other film youtube channels. And this exact video has been done like 7 times already. No one is original now as sad as that sounds. It's surprisingly takes more effort to copy and they all still do it ☠️

I had a question unrelated to this video; I’ve watched a lot of your reviews, and I’ve gotten down to two options for a video camera to buy: either the Canon T2i or Lumix GH2. Have any thoughts on comparing them? For reference, my main goal is to film music videos for bands. Thanks!

Rather than using the clear image zoom, on a full frame Sony, use the Super 35mm mode. It will take care of the vignette and the setting persists after you switch the camera on and off

Instead of diopters, try some macro extension tubes, they are cheap too.

Im using a Sony a6100 and I bought this lens came in yesterday I have a hard time using it and figuring out how to use it, do you maybe know any budget monitors that have d squeeze for Sony a6100? I just need help on how to use it, can you make in debth video on how to use it??

what happens if you put a full frame 1.6 ana lens onto a crop aps c body? i want 1.6 on my cropped aps

Sharpness without a flashlight looks almost identical to that without a diopter, would say 5% less. I use Hoya ones (100€ kit) which are top range and sharpness is like 0'1% less. Quality glass makes a huge difference

Hi FoxTailWhipz, thank you for your very interesting tutorial! I recently bought the Sirui f1.8 35mm and I am really very enthusiastic about the Image quality! I shot a short video using a +3 close up lens, and the result is amazing I think! I wanted to know how my anamorphic SIRUI f 1.8/35mm performs in combination with a close-up lens +3! I was very pleasantly surprised by the result, especially as I used up to 2x "clear zoom" for all my shots. What do you think?
