I work in animation, and one of the hardest thing to feel is art block and burnout, especially when I feel so lucky to work in an industry that I'm passionate about. This video brought a lot of comfort and reassurance that I'm not in this alone, and it reminded me to make small manageable changes in my routine to help refocus. Thanks for this video!

You have no idea how much your channel has helped me out of my depression. Today I came back from Ikea with beautiful plants to inspire me on my journey to be a good designer. Sometimes I feel like I can't and then I go on KZfaq and I find this video and you make me smile and I take that as a sign. Thank you so much for sharing your passion and inspiring us. God bless you and everyone you love. 🍃

This is the right time content for me. As an part time lecturer, small shop owner and content creator, I’ve burned out in last month. But lately I found myself pushing to hard to put something out of my head do all of them. My work doesn’t need to much creativity and thinking but definitely my creation needs them a lot.

Thanks Maisy, I’ve been following you on Tiktok for quite some time now, I want to say since 2021. My desk used to be 2 diaper boxes on top of each other. Now, I bought my first desk, mechanical keyboard and slowly made my space cozy. I am also now living intentionally. You’ve made a positive change in my life. 💜

I strongly agree with so much in this video. A lot of what you shared are things I had to learn and implement in my life now. I still need some practice 😅 but the positive effects are showing! I take mandatory breaks, eat away from my desk or workspace, hydrate, cut out time and cut off time for things and remind myself to be satisfied about the progress and not everything needs to be done when you start. I could go on and on, but you’ve laid it out so well in this video. Thank you for sharing fun, cozy, and such positive videos with us all, Maisy! ✌🏾

Ironically enough, I've been in a bit of a creative lock where I couldn't even find the time and watch a video "For those who lost their creative spark". Finally watching this has reminded me of how working from home really requires change of scenery. Occasionally I'll work from my couch or even better is from my patio. Getting fresh air has been really nice at making me feel more in touch with the rest of the world. Additionally, the cafe idea has been great for getting together with friends and I have tried it since I saw it in a past video of yours where you went out and worked in a cafe :) I will say I really liked getting to hear some of your composition on the piano. I wish we could hear more of them but also understand it's good to have not everything be published and up for the world as they may have more worth being personal. Just throwing it out there in case you were considering it

I feel like I struggle to get into a groove with Notion and actually checking it haha. Did you struggle with that at first?
@maisyleigh
@maisyleigh 11 ай бұрын
I definitely did struggle with Notion at first. But with "embracing imperfection", I started to not worry so much with how my Notion looks. Instead I just jotted down ideas in my Notion anywhere, knowing I can always go back and re-organize it. I think many of us get overwhelmed with achieving perfectionism with Notion, but following my strategies in this video as helped me be more consistent with it!

3:33 With 55 Million Views in 365 days.... how can it be harmful for mental heath to check those numbers and think not doing well enough?. I'm your fan, but as INTJ can't understand that claim nor impostor syndrome. But I do get stressed out making content every week and being overload of work cause well we have to feed the beast YT, IG, TK, it's an endless game.
@maisyleigh
@maisyleigh 11 ай бұрын
I feel the same stress to feed the “beast”. Also, as humans, we always want to do better. So it can feel like an endless game of posting content hoping it’ll do better than the last. My point was to share how we should be proud of ourselves for making in the first place since it takes a lot of courage to do so. But it’s easy for everyone to get caught up in the views, and hoping each content is better in “performance” than the last. It’s a journey, and there will always be ups and downs.
