You are right in that their strength is equal. I was referring to their ability to overpower each other. Basically, in My Little Pony Cosmology, there exist an infinite number of parallel universes with an infinite number of possibilities without even including crossovers. Death Battle considers Gravity Falls cosmology to be higher than that of My Little Pony because they consider the Nightmare Realm to be a "higher plane", but they never prove this claim with evidence. In the Gravity Falls journals, it is stated that the Nightmare realm is a dimension in-between other dimensions, so I wouldn't consider it a "higher plane". Overall, we are comparing infinity to infinity, so it is impossible to call one stronger than the other. The main difference is that Discord can freely enter the mindscape while Bill has to make a deal to enter the mind of just one person. Discord has better hacks than Bill and most of Discord's moments of weakness are him testing those around him because he doesn't want others to rely on his powers. Also, Bill has a lot more exploitable weaknesses (he could literally be defeated with one blast from a quantum destabilizer, can't break through gravity falls weirdness barrier without Stanford's equation, has an extremely vulnerable weak point in his eye that takes longer to regenerate, etc.) Overall, Discord is better equipped to defeat Bill on account of his superior hacks and more diverse abilities.@@deephurting8583

I mean I liked the fight, ending and the battle track, it's just that they got a lot of information wrong that would've clearly given Discord the win + they kinda gave Bill things he doesn't have. I understand though, I just was hoping they'd get the outcome right and did better research than usual. I've been anticipating this fight as a kid since I loved both series.
