Be sure to remove any wrinkles to avoid adding additional pressure areas

For what types of patients do you use a cast with a toe plate or foot plate? if you have a cast shoe could you avoid application of a foot or toe plate? Would you be able to demonstrate a cast application with a toe plate? Thanks for taking the time to post these very educational videos. Appreciate the effort. Thanks

If the Pt has swelling, the pleats allow for swelling without causing problems …

I really like the “back n forth”wrapping. I’m applying a UNNA this week to one of my Pts ( I’m a nurse) and I’m always looking to improve technique! Thx!
