We were louder at the fanzine than we were at SOL - much quieter than average away game which was a surprise! Fair play to the Mackems - they brought the volume. Loudest home support since Leeds for me!

Couldn't hear the mackems in the away end. May have been decent but I didn't hear them once. The away end was bouncing where I was. Class.

@@chrisbravo920 Quietest away following for a while ! Didn’t get going until 2-0 - early start on buses was a factor for me . I have just watched the 90 mins replay - credit to Mackems as they were loud.

might have been different in the stadium but couldnt hear our lot at all, actually embarrasing. Commentator mentioned the home side are making all the noise too and sunlun fans sang "only sing when you're winning". joke man

@@birtlee2078 nee idea how it came across on TV but the toon fans were class in the Upper Tier. Never heard the mackems once and I've not seen it on TV so not sure how it came across on the box. Although you'd expect 36 thousand to outsing 6 thousand. 😂

Could hear the Newcastle fans quite clearly on ITVX, yes the Sunderland fans were loud (mostly boo's because they couldn't get the ball off us), but only until the first goal; after that, it was pretty even, until the second and desperation from them kicked in.
