Amy Lee was in a relationship with the lead singer Shaun Morgan from the band Seether from 2003 to 2005. After their separation due to his addiction to substances, she wrote "Call Me When Your Sober" about him. If you want to hear her beautiful voice singing with the band Seether, listen to the song called "Broken" from Seether featuring Amy Lee.

I am suggesting you listen to their song "Wasted on You'' from their 2021 album The Bitter Pill. The video is not like any of their others as it shows each member during isolation. yeah, miss Amber said it perfectly....Amy Lee isn't just a tremendous vocalist. She has that 'SIREN' quality to her voice. So much so that you don't even realize that you've been completely hypnotized. if she was a mutant. her power would be this. if you catch it, in the video, the longer she sings; the more powerful she becomes. from sitting to a table, to summoning 4 familiars...that after performing a dance, along with her song...fully unlocks her power. giving her the ability to fly and unlimited telekinesis. the longer this woman sings...the more increible your world becomes. she's limitless.

Finally!!!! Yes she was dating the singer from Seether and they actually did a song together called Broken. It's rumoured that this song was directed towards him when they broke up. He would call her when he was drunk wanting her but would not when he was sober... In other words it was like "Booty" calls. She really loved him , but like she said in the song, You were never mine". So she had to tell him to pack his things that she had made up his mind for him. It was like a fairy tale thing to her so the video captures that along with the Red Riding Hood feel. You have the wolves and then you have the man grinning like a wolf who is just using her for whatever he wants.

This was a karaoke song of mine and I miss singing it. Unfortunately lost my singing voice due to surgeries. Tried singing along since no one is home and still can’t hit those power notes. There are so many good Evanescence songs. If you haven’t reacted to My Immortal, it’s a must.

Other interesting groups from the 90’s Babes in Toyland -Bruised Violet and Hole -Violet . Interesting time for female rock alternative. Evanescence will probably always be almost timeless . And listen to by generations.

If you REALLY want to FEEL her singing, her cover of Going to California is everything. Just my opinion, but this is one of those times where a cover is absolutely wonderful.

Evanescence is my all-time favourite band, I've been listening to them for almost 20 years lol. She was a huge influence for me as a kid, because I'm a pianist too (25 years and counting) and she helped me move out of classical stuff to composing my own stuff.

There is my girl, I adored her before this, but this song is what made me fall in love with her and her talent. It is about her and the lead singer of the band Seether, and their break up. His loss......

All her songs are personal to her. From the death of her siblings to her relationship with the frontman of Seether to how she feels about the music industry. The latter can be found in their latest album, The Bitter Truth, which you guys need to listen to.

Amy Lee wrote "Call me when you're sober" about her ex-bf Shaun Morgan, the lead singer/guitarist of the band Seether... She did a duet 'Broken' w/ Seether when they were together... Soon after this single came out, Morgan coincidentally went to rehab for alcohol addiction. Seether has some good tunes - 'Fine again' ... 'Let you down' ... 'Remedy' ...'Driven under'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥

Amy's Evanescence co-founder, Ben Moody has a duet with Anastacia, called "Everything Burns", and it'll blow you away. Anastacia has vocals nearly as powerful as Amy's.

This was the first album after guitarist Ben Moody's departure from the band. Terry Balsamic from Cold took over lead guitar duties and cowrote many of the songs on this album. The song is about Amy Lee's relationship and breakup with the lead singer of Seether, who has a well known issue with alcoholism.
