It’s a different kind of day for our vets! From vaccinating horses and researching cancer treatments to mentoring junior vets, it is all in a day’s work for our animal doctors.
Dr Lee Yee Lin goes to the stables to give about 60 horses their yearly vaccinations. Working with large animals gets tricky, as the shy horses become agitated by the presence of strangers.
Dr Jean-Paul Ly is spending the day at his laboratory doing research on cancer treatments for animals. When he returns to the clinic, three-legged Yorkshire Terrier Kyra is waiting for him. Kyra’s has a cancerous tumour on her leg, and there is a chance it must be amputated.
Meanwhile, Dr Nicholas Woo starts his day by mentoring some of the junior vets at his clinic. As the busy day comes to an end, he packs for a well-deserved holiday with his family.

CNA, please don't let this vet series end. With pet ownerships on the rise continually in SG, this series of following local vets around have been really interesting, informative, relevant, and helpful in getting us better acquainted with our vets and the pets and animals that are featured. So thank you for producing this vet series - so glad and proud that we now have our own version of Bondi Vets. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩🤩🤩

Please make this a permanent series as its informative, educational, and an eye opener of what it's like to be a vet. I've watched every single episode of Bondi Vet and some reruns, so looking forward to more of this. :)

My dog Odie passed away in 2016. Prior to that, I have been touched by so many caring veterinarians. This series has helped me understand this profession better. Respect!

Been following this series religiously on this channel (since I always miss it on tv), really love the stories and how the three vets are common in their love for animals, yet different in their own ways. Kudos to the producers and team!

My baby is currently suffering from heartworm and I've been to different vets and they ran multiple tests but they weren't able to diagnose it for a month. And then there's this one vet who was able to diagnose it by just retaking the same test as the other vets. I think it is really very important that a vet genuinely cares about the animals and can really sympathize with the owners. I really have mad respect for the vets out there especially to the vets in this series. I wish you all the best things in life and I hope that you'll be able to save more lives in the future. 💖

Isn't it dangerous to recap the needle? Should've just thrown it into the sharp box. Love this series though. Dr. Ly and Dr. Lee are both my go-to vets.

Animals are receiving better care than some peoples in our society.

Depend if the pet parent can afford it. Atleast there's free healthcare for people in most countries. But I don't think there's any country w/ free healthcare for pets, you can't even add them to your insurance.

@@yealikewhatyousaid6127 Free healthcare? Not in Singapore. A lot of elderlies here can barely survive by collecting cardboards. Many of them won't be able to receive medical attention for their medical conditions.

That's what I'm saying. These animals are getting better care, because their owners can afford them. I'm pretty sure elders with money or has family members that can afford are also getting better care. Same with these pets, I'm sure pets with owners that can't afford these vets are not getting the care they need.
