#1- The update doesn't make sense, though - the police couldn't get anywhere, so they hired a PI, who miraculously found a dude somewhere who managed to positively identify a person who killed a man in a car in the woods?? I'm half expecting the PI to have made the discovery at a strip club just for full cliche points. #2- Even if he didn't murder the guy, Bob Bean is definitely guilty of something. Every single word that slithers out of his mouth and every tiny twitch all over his face paints the image of man that's as trustworthy as Ted Bundy taking your daughter to prom. I swear, I can almost smell his stuffy old man deodorant through a computer screen and over 30 years of passed time.

@@BrianSmith-yq7ys Yeah, I read that part, I'm just having a hard time visualizing how the chain of events are at work here. "Police can't make progress so the case stalls > private investigator is hired > investigator finds eyewitness who can positively ID the perpetrator of a random act of violence that happened in a rural area off the beaten path > man is arrested and found guilty" ... So what, the PI drove around asking people if they saw a guy get murdered until someone said "You know, now that you mention it..." It feels like I skipped over two pages somewhere.

I just found out recently that Bob Bean and Danny became good friends and are still very close, there are articles about their friendship online. Legit truth; I am now 40, but after watching it sometimes as a kid in the late 80s/early 90s right before I had to go to bed for school, I’d take my shower with the curtain open, preemptively on turn the lights to the hallway and my bedroom, then, with nothing but the bare wall to my back, rush into bed! 🤣

@@liberty4392 - There is one issue that no one has really thought about or noticed here. I have worked with many special needs people ranging from young children to older adults. There are many different level of autism.. I have a 30 year old with autism. My son is very muck like Gordon in many ways. He was at a Special Olmpic Golf event. Someone asked him to move a golf cart. He has no idea about stuff like this and ended up running over people (of course he did not seriously hurt anyone) My son got a job at a grocery store, just like Gordon. I really did not think he would make it but surprisingly he has been at the same store for over 10 years considering he has trouble communicating. Even at that, people come to shop there just because he works there. He even ended up on several billboards with a photo of him and the manager with the store's name on major highways. On the bottom it says "We hire the handicap" So, this is what I can say that no one has caught on to. Gordon was new to the area and knows nothing of where he was at. First thing I can say is this. No autistic person would have the idea what hitch-hiking is. Maybe he walked away but not hitch-hike. I have always suspected one of two things. 1) Something sinister happened to Gordon at the group home. There are unqualified people that works at group homes, especially at night 2) My strongest suspicion is the "witness" who saw Gordon hitch-hiking. How would Gordon even know wich was to go.

Geordie story is heartbreaking. Poor thing, the doctors didn’t know what was wrong with him. He was never diagnosed with the type of illness or condition he had, and to put him on an stimulant medicine as Ritalin is and and a tranquilizer (Valium) at the same time, was catastrophic for Gordie and made things worse for him. Unbelievable. It was not until he was with this other man that he was diagnosed as being autistic. Why he escaped from that facility remains a mystery. I wonder if something happened to him or just simply that he wanted to be with his Dad and Mom. I hope for Gordie’s sake as well as his parents, that he is found alive and well, but most likely he is not alive. Hoping and preying that Gordie was not a victim of a crime. Very disheartening case, so sad. 😢

I get the structure helps some people, but I think its common sense to not kill and be good to others even in a natural sense, and in his case its a toxic family who ripped itself apart with false murder accusations even with all the alibis and evidence not point to any of them. Anyone without knowing about he could obviously notice he’s not normal. I'm thinking maybe he died of exposure somewhere. Maybe someone picked him up and insisted he get out somewhere when he couldn't communicate? Then he wandered off? He had no money and needed food, shelter and help. How could he fend for himself? Frustratingly sad.

The last story hits me very hard, because I was diagnosed with autism when I was very young, and when I got older my family was so worried about me that they considered putting me into a group home to be taken care of. I find it so sad how so many people treat Autistic people so cruelly. They have feelings just like you and I, want to be near their loved ones and have dreams and aspirations. Unfortunately, we are now in 2023 and I know many Autistic parents that are thinking of putting their Adult autistic child into a group home. Many group homes follow the same cruel procedure of not allowing the family to see their loved one for an extended time period. So they can adapt to their new home and surroundings. Sickening!!
