What happens When An Unstoppable Destructive Force meets an Immovable Ancient Temple? That's Veeranarayana Temple in Belavadi, Karnataka. U can destroy the carvings but u cannot even dismantle a single stone block from this temple. BUT WHY?

Hey guys, today we are going to look at a very ancient temple called Veeranarayana temple. Actually, this temple should not even exist, it should have been completely destroyed and razed to the ground, but there are some hidden secrets which make it still standing, even after centuries of destruction.
Some experts claim that this temple was not attacked by invaders, but they are wrong. Focus on the faces of the carvings. Every face has been defaced, without an exception. You can see this careful, planned defacing in all the carvings. This is a clear example of destruction by invaders because they truly believed that idol worship is wrong. And they are forbidden not only to carve faces, but also to set eyes on carved faces, they consider it evil. This is why All the faces have been scraped off carefully. This is not a case of natural erosion, nature doesn’t focus only on faces, it would destroy every part of the body, the same way.
A classic example of disfiguration is this beautiful lady. Her nose has been completely cut off. Her lips have been chopped off, and her eyes have been removed. Today, sometimes we see in the news that, some woman has been disfigured by acid attack, sometimes women are mutilated purposely to demean them. This was the ancient predecessor to these attacks. And this statue, unike a human being, will remain for thousands of years, as a testimony of hate.
But invaders did not just casually destroy this temple, it was a planned effort, look at the top, on the tower. This is really mind boggling, the people who destroyed it, had unbelievable dedication, they even climbed on top of the tower, and destroyed these statues, so it was very well planned. You can clearly understand that they used ladders to climb up and used axes to make sure all these statues were destroyed.
So you can see, Invaders have laid their hands on almost all these statues, but even then, they could not destroy the temple’s architecture. Think about this, instead of defacing all these faces one by one, they could have completely removed all the stone blocks from the temple and destroy this temple fully, right? But they could only scratch the surface, they could not dismantle even a single stone blocks from this temple. Why? What happens when a passionate, destructive force meets an advanced immovable obstacle?
This is the result. The Veeranarayana temple holds the key to creating unbreakable megalithic structures. If architects want to build structures that last for eternity, they should come and study how ancient builders assembled the stone blocks here. Even today it is impossible to remove any single stone block from this temple. Because every block is connected to more stone blocks with several types of fastening. To dismantle just one block at the bottom, you have to dismantle the entire temple itself, starting from the top, and this could take years. First you should unscrew the top screw (kalasam), and then begin to dismantle everything.

Thank you so much for showing us these beautiful structures, the culture, the history, the ancient and modern wonder of these places, Praveen. I have seen your slots on Ancient Aliens, but your channel here is much richer, more educational, and thought provoking on a more detailed level. I see so many similarities in Ancient structures from around the World,.. this Temple reminds me in many ways of the interlocking and puzzle like stapling construction of somewhere like Puma Punku . It does feel like India, TN, and such places were a huge major player in Ancient times though. The level of sophistication is breathtakingly beautiful. Colonisation and British rule and culture overlaying so much has a lot to anwer for. We see things in a distorted way,.. and I'm so glad that people like yourself and some others are trying to strip that veil away, and see History as it was meant to be seen. Scientifically, through the builders, and culturally through the traditions, stories, scriptures, and oral histories. I'm so pleased to have discovered you and your channel. Thank you SO much. x

As I've said before, India has the most complicated structures and carvings anywhere. I can see much of the rock shown today is granite and it is shaped in ways that would be hard for us today. Without complex and powered tools, I see no way they could have been shaped. But, the carvings on 100% of outside look impossible. The detailing of the people is so fine and small, how did they even do that? Even they could have mass produced the stone blocks and carvings, it just seems impossible to build the temples in India!

Clearly there was a "reset" of some sort or perhaps multiple resets from then till where we are today. I agree, if we can barely bore holes or cut through granite with today's technology then how the heck did they do that with such detail so long ago when man was supposed to be "primitive" with hammers and picks 😆 its because they weren't primitive! Look at the straight precise cut lines on some temples that you can barely see up close. Our building tech nowadays can't even line stones up that precise

To those who are curious about the Main deity : There were trained gaurds who would either hide or take away the main deity from the temple in case of an invasion. The deity would return to the temple after peace is restored ( this would take even 100s of years ). Even Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple and Sri rangam temple faced this fate. A lot of statues we find underground today are the ones that don't make it to their actual location !!

I thought Tamilnadu was never attack by non Indians? Except for britishers I guess? Just asking because temples in North were in much worst condition 😢 they were built in dome shapes painted white so that invaders not know there is a temple. There are temples in which main deities are in the soil hidden and temples without carving of dieties so that they can make it seem like palace and invaders never attack :/

This temple's remarkable resilience demonstrates the vast amount of sacred energy and divine power manifested through the dedication and devotion that the builders purposefully and painstakingly put into every single aspect of the magnificent structure. Despite such a concerted and methodical demolition attempt, the vile desecrators could only inflict minor surface damage. Since that is all they have to show for their misguided efforts the temple should be honored with frequent visitation and admiration.

No one dared to invade South India The King of Gupta empire has mentioned it is impossible to capture South India Mysuru and Hyderabad was ruled by Mughals due to the power vacuum there Raja Raja Chola ruled almost whole of South Asia and Cholas helped in building Angkor Wat The so called Shivaji's might is just propaganda created by the political party called Shiv Sena Indeed Shivaji had sent his family to Thanjavur to save them from mughals. The King of Thanjavur and Shivaji were friends. His descendants still live in Thanjavur Shivaji's son was killed by Mughals and his body was feeded to dogs Stop watching propaganda movies and learn real history Indeed India is a union not a nation. It is unfortunate today South India is a part of Indian union otherwise she would have developed like Germany & Japan People belonging to the oldest civilizations like Jews, Japanese and South Indian have evolved better and excel in all the spheres of life Hence despite being a part of Indian union South India is powerhouse of India's economy & talent Now Thank me for imparting this knowledge to you for free of cost

My first thought when I saw the drilled holes is that they are not very precise in size, construction, or location. Which makes me think the holes were added later. Perhaps when they were trying to destroy the temple, they drilled holes and used them for anchors with ropes and used animals to try to pull the blocks apart. Which is why many of the holes are broken out.

I also strongly advocate Shri Praveen's last point of view that Hindus should repair/reconstruct(Jeernodhar) all vandalized temples to the best of their abilities & restart praying & offer daily pujas so that these temples will not only become places of worship/pilgrimage, but also generate revenues from devotees offerings, which can be used in the redevelopment/beautification/upgrading facilities/amenities at the temples & surrounding areas. Also more people will come & enjoy watching such priceless temples architecture/carvings & history.🙏🙏

Praveen, great work! Your videos keep getting better. I am always astounded by the craftsmanship and attention to detail of the ancient builders. How do we know the age of the temple? Through the work of archeologists? Could it be much older, say thousands or tens of thousands of years or even more? There is a theory relating to a lost super civilization before the Younger Dryas (approximately 12,800 to 11,600 years before present). Your work with the "staples" or "clamps" as they are sometimes referred to dovetails (sorry) with the work of KZfaq channel Mystery History and Graham Hancock. I found you through Mystery History. Bharat is fighting these invaders even today: the ideology that led them to destroy works of art has not changed one bit and the present-day followers wouldn't mind repeating what the invaders did if the world weren't watching. I'd like to see just ONE modern day architect attempt to design something with the same complexity... so many beautiful angles and sculptures PERFECTLY placed and crafted to precision... NOTHING we see today even comes close! Not sure if the stone structures themselves were the Vimanas/flying machines but it has been noted that in the very least so many of them were built to resemble the shape of the vimanas. One temple has many tiny holes in the bottom, very precisely drilled about 1mm x 1mm to resemble those found on rockets to let gas and flame out. Then there are also lions blowing fire on this same template to signify the combustion process. All the things pointing to these techs are piling up. Either way, I do believe many of these structures tie in with said flying vimanas.

It's TERRIBLE how this "RELIGIOSITY" and "CHURCHIANITY" has destroyed SO much, over time. Even the FIRST "Gulf War"... The VERY FIRST "Boots on the Ground" went for the museums and the Sumerian Tablets... THOUSANDS were taken, from what "I" have researched. I WATCHED them, actually broadcast this when it happened and I was "fortunate" enough to WATCH... and wondered (quite literally) "WHAT are they doing in the MUSEUMS, when this is SUPPOSE to be a freaking "LIBERATION"...???" So not only have they done this in the past, they are STILL doing it... WHAT are "They" SO afraid of?!? These "Conquerors" who KEEP doing this, and have been, for freaking MILLENNIA...?!? Anyway ANOTHER great post... One (hopefully) to get "people" to THINK...!!! Cheers!!!

I feel like to cry whenever I see how our beautiful temple were destroyed and looted by Islamists. They were themselve unable to create any such thing so they destroyed everything in every civilization no matter it's Egypt or Persia, which means when a person is unable to do something creative then he try to do destructive

Even with modern CAD drawing and modern construction technology it would be difficult to build this structure.

If I look to those stone blocks and the connections it come to my mind that they actually look like precast elements, assembled together to a beautiful temple. By the way the metal brackets you also can find in ancient south American constructions, Puma Punkuh, or, even in the pyramids of Egypt. So it seems they all use the same technique, what means on the other hand that they may one cultural origin or they are at least was very well connected around the globe

Aww that's sad that this temple doesn't get many visitors just because the faces were destroyed. I believe people can be great healers. It just takes some love and the power can be restored to this area.
