UNSUPPORTED and NOT enough FUEL?! K’gari (Fraser island).

We loaded up two tinnies with all our camping gear, almost enough fuel and set off on a 200km round trip to camp at a spot only accessible by boat on the beautiful Fraser Island with a healthy amount of fishing for juvenile black marlin.
So sit down and enjoy this trip of a life time.

Cheers mate! Definitely took a while to nut out how I wanted the trailer but am pretty happy with it this far! Few small changes to be done over the Chrissy period though.

I’m sure it gets a hell of a lot rougher, that’s why it’s good to know the weather and luckily it’s easy to get information regarding winds, tide, waves and weather in general online now to aid in making the decision whether trips like this are able to be done in that weather window or not.

I also hope I don’t need rescue, same as everyone who goes out on the water (or any other sort of adventures) would hope to never need to be rescued. But short of an unforeseen accident that could happen to anyone in any boat at any time we had taken the precautions needed to make this trip possible.

Wow now that's an adventure, we've seen a few little Tinnys off cape Moreton and it was crazy out there in our 47ft boat with the whales around us. All you need is good weather, winds and good sense of awareness looks like you know what you're doing. We are a family of 6, so Def's prepared for storms etc Enjoy your time on the water ❤ newest Subscribers
