Thank you for your great videos. I am just starting out, and your tips are very useful. What I would love to see though, is a video detailing the WHOLE of the costs for running an AI store, so all the Etsy costs based on maybe a £2 product that makes 100 sales per month, plus the monthly fees for all the programmes you use - Midjourney, Photoshop, Canva, Everbee, etc. etc. That would be really really useful for figuring out how much you need to sell, how many listings you could do with, and so on.

Patryk, I have a question though. How is it worth it to sell those tumblers when a lot of people are basically lowballing the prices to $1.00 like that? You have to do so much work to create the photo listings and upscaling the pictures and I just wonder if that is even worth it now.

Hey patryk there's a thing i wanna discuss as im really confused about it. So actually I created 2 etsy account from uk but using them in Pakistan (as we can't create Etsy account in Pakistan) so i wanna know that is it important to use vpn or vps to use that etsy account from here im really confused because they had suspended my both accounts but didn't give me any reason even i ask them many times. So i was thinking that can it be the reason? Please if anyone knows about it do let me know🙂

So,do you then need to do anything extra to the file to make it usable for tumblers? Or does the buyer crop into whatever templates they would use?

As far as this being an embroidery file-is it a true embroidery stitch design for example if we created this as a design and used Printful for print provider would they be able to put this on a pillow? Idk what more an embroidery pattern would be used for. Usually it’s relatively a smaller design such as a monogram on the middle of a blanket, maybe some personalization letters or elements, small pocket designs, ect. So, say I wanted a small pocket or sleeve embroidery design maybe a name and date or even a small family crest -can I create that as the way you are showing and send to a print company to embroider??

Also the reason I ask-is I don’t understand the sellers listing. Like I said embroidery is not DTG or any other decal material it’s layered stitching and I’ve never saw that on a tumbler?? And their listing pics don’t give off the true embroidery texture. Are they just using a hood “ keyword” but misleading the customers? I am really confused. And maybe they have an embroidery design since the price is much higher. Please clarify.

it might be just a play with keywords. Maybe people are looking for that "emrodiery" feeling

These ideas are all well and good if someone is just starting out on Etsy and doesn’t know what to sell. But it has been my experience (selling since 2010) that if someone has a “general store” on Etsy then introducing just a few products that are like those found in stores that sell nothing BUT that product, then sales won’t go well. Etsy seems to slot a store into selling only one or two types of products and it is hard to get found in searches for any new product that you introduce. For example, I started out selling custom made jewellery for many years. About six? months ago I branched out into digital (and along the way before that many different products in POD). It is excruciatingly difficult to try and convince Etsy’s algorithm that I also sell digital items. Very frustrating.

What data do you have to support this. This conclusion feels emotional because your pivot into digital didn't translate until the projected sales you you had in mind. Won't SEO, tittle name, tags etc... Determine your exposure and views? Just my two cents from a new Etsy seller 😂
@goilo888
@goilo888 11 ай бұрын
@@RainingYayo Based on my experience and listening to a large number of people on YT and in other forums who state the same thing; owning a “general” store on Etsy is not good, period, but owning one and then trying to branch out into one area is incredibly difficult. And, yes, I pay very close attention to SEO, title and tags. I have also advertised. My digital items barely move and yet (luckily, I suppose) I have two main pieces of silver jewellery that sell consistently well and are always top ranked in that shop. But two good selling items does not make for a great business.

You're making out these people are making a fortune, and they're not. The figures you are showing is the turnover, not the profit. How much do you think they are making by selling these for $3? Take all the Etsy charges out, the time they have to work on these products and they are left with virtually no profit whatsoever. Stop making these videos encouraging people to sell on Etsy. Very few make a living with Etsy.

Hey fineartattic. Have you seen any of my etsy results videos? I never claimed to be making crazy amount of money. In fact, most of the time I do struggle with etsy profits. In regards to this video, I don't think I claimed that these sellers are making crazy amount of money. I did mention one seller who was the top seller for the month of may selling tumblers. I don't exact profit numbers for their stores I go by what Everbee shows me and they don't share accurate data since they don't have access to the seller expenses. I agree with you, very few people make a living with Etsy, I can feel it too. It's not that easy. This why I share my struggles and whatever I learn on the way on my YT. Thank you

@@PatrykMarketer Thank you for your reply. More and more people are coming out and telling the truth about sites like Etsy. The only people who are truly making money are the sites themselves who are making $ millions. It's time people pulled out of these sites, and maybe then, they would be much fairer to people who want to sell their goods. But, as long as people on KZfaq keep telling people you can earn all these silly amounts of money each month stops, it will carry on, as a lot of people are so gullible in believing these people.

What people need to consider is that these are digital products and there is a finite amount of time invested into creation and listing on etsy.Then they sell over and over. Yes, then there are costs associated with etsy's listing, etc, but you'd have costs if you had your own website.Some designs will only sell a few times or not at all, others will sell a bunch..hit or miss..

@@JenniferHugheyI partly agree, art is art there's always endless possibilities even with AI art, not all AI art is the same, if your creative enough you can actually make a good profit even from one artpiece, I've personally made $7321 from one AI artwork, on average I make about $1000 to $1400 per week and I've only had my Etsy store less than 5 months but I did my research and basically followed King humans advice from youtube, he gave me PRICELESS advice that goe me where I am now

@@Wargasmic it's nice that you make a profit, but it's not that easy, especially with digital stores and low priced items. Especially when you are only starting out. I started my shop 2 months ago. I planned and started learning way before. I've made 10 sales in my first months - with the cost of Etsy Ads, I was in the red. I'm now 35 sales in and am still in the red (though it's getting better). Many start out on Etsy with a loss. It's nice that you have made it, but I'd say for every store that succeeds there are at least one if not two that fail. Also, many start out with these expectations and invest a lot into ads because of that ultimately making a loss because of it :/
