Love this assignment. I got an excellent used Leica Q2 Monochrom at a price that really made me smile. I have been to Taiwan a number of times and love seeing what you discovered. BTW - I also got a Wotancraft Bag and it just arrived a few days ago. I picked up the 3.5L pilot bag and it is like it was made for the Q2 Monochrom. Enough extra room for a filter pouch, extra battery and a few handy things. Gone are my days of lugging around a camera and extra lenses. I have gone light and learned to get creative and explore what this camera offers. This camera forces you to be a better photographer. The settings are important and then learning what shooting B&W makes you think about. The images are stunning to say the least. Thanks for documenting your adventure.

I really like the q2 monochrome but I had to choose q2 over monochrome because sometime I like to shoot colors. Black & White out of this monochrome is out of this world. Thanks for sharing and would love to watch more.

Love your energy and focus Justin.... I like your post processing...The monochroms are very flat SOC. You crushed your blacks very tastefully and not too much....Just right.... Great video man!

I had one, and it was a terrific camera. I have an M11 Monochrom on order, but can still 12:19 see getting a Q2 Monochrom or perhaps a Q3 Monochrom if it becomes available someday.

@@AskMOTT Mostly the Old Quarter. Our hotel was there. Initially overwhelming because there is so much to shoot. You really need to pick your spots or you'll end up with hundreds of shots!

I believe the camera wasn`t good enough to get your enthusiasm. You`re images were edited, what`s your opinion on the SOC files? I own a Q2 and convert a lot to B&W and am always wondering why I didn`t get the Monochrom version. Nice video!

Leica M junior, for amateurs 😂 mmm I appreciate subjectivity, but a full frame, high res, 28mm ‘Leica glass’ camera is standalone, it’s very obviously able to be used professionally hence all the above. Not singularly commercial maybe but there’s more to being a professional photographer than commercial work… all the greats? For someones photography to be limited by what is a very capable camera is the users visual or artistic choice not the tool. There’s extremely accomplished professionals making very viable work on 5yr old Fuji crop point and shoots.
