Still wanting to get one of these. Edit after watching video: Absolutely love the way you walk us through the ‘how to’ part of the video. No one else would have explained the part of what to do with a wobbly blade like you just did. Brilliant in your barebones approach to educating us. Very refreshing.

I didn’t know these even existed. I love the concept. I just moved from another town. I had a great workshop there. The new owners loved my shop and bought the house and my complete workshop. So now I have built an new shop at my new location. I am currently outfitting it with all new equipment and tools. The house on this property was built in 1973 and needs a lot of help. So I am doing a complete gut and remodel. These would be a great help when I start the cabinets and trim in the house. I enjoy your vids. Keep them coming. Very helpful!

This review is timely. I'm new to woodworking and was looking into this type of tool a couple of weeks ago, but opted to skip it for now because I wasn't sure how or if I would use it. This video helped a great deal. I've really enjoyed your videos. Especially those wood burning how to videos. Thank you.

Such an awesome concept! I've been doing this with a dado stack and always measuring, measuring and measuring some more to get the cuts the same across all my pieces. This really takes a lot of the work out of it and looks like I can do quick slots without going through all the set-up time of changing to a dado stack on my saw stop for just a piece or two.

No need to apologise! We are all very grateful to individuals like you, who take the time to share your experience. I purchased the banggood version at the end of last year as it was on offer at £16 sterling. I have a sled for my table saw and just don't enjoy how messy cutting long rebates with a router is. Thanks for the clear explanation on how to use the tool.

I purchased the Bridge City model years ago. It was pricy at the time but it has served me well over the years. I noticed that there are many "home made" versions of it that I'm sure work but the fit, feel and quality of the tool is what makes it satisfying to use. Thanks for the review.

Well explained, I’ve seen other demos and you made it much clearer as to how it works, and a few options for setting the kerf. I have a saw that doesn’t fit a dado and I’ve always struggled with getting tight fits. My method has been to take a scrap piece of the shelf and cut it thinner by the blade width, then place it to move the stop block and hope it’s tight.

I am late to the table as usual. Everytime I watch you work I learn something I did not know. I own both of these tools. I am not really strong. Both of them I use regularly for different work. However… I always seem to migrate to Bridge City Tools. They just feel better in my hands and I have BIG problems with my hands. You cant go wrong with either tool. I use my BCT without a doubt more often across the board. They just work extremely well. Bridge City Tools are without a doubt a forever tools. Once you understand your tool they are awsome. Thank You. This is the best video ever on how to use these tools. I laughed at what I did not know…..
