UPDATE: FOUND “Searching Ponds for MISSING Father of Two from Charlotte, NC”

I search ponds for missing father Douglas Kocher (44) last seen 6/27/22 driving a Black 2001 Toyota Camry.
UPDATE: The Charlotte police dept. confirmed that Douglas was located and no longer considered missing. I do not know the details of his being found as all info was very vague from the police but I wanted to make sure I updated you all regardless. Thanks for watching and supporting our search efforts.

CMPD says the man was last seen on Otter Creek Drive in south Charlotte, and is believed to be driving a black 2001 Toyota Camry with an Ohio license plated, numbered ‘DSR-9257.’
Beck said he left without his driver’s license, credit cards or his medicine.
“He was supposed to pick up the kids this last Thursday and didn’t show up again,” she said. “It’s horrible. Absolutely horrible. We don’t know what to think.” She described Kocher as an avid baseball fan, a sport that he recently played in a local softball league. His kids are aged 7 and 9.
Anyone who has seen or has any information regarding Kocher is asked to contact CMPD.

Was he a rescue or was it a recovery? Noted they had a silver alert issued on him. Such a young family to have this happen in their lives. Prayers to the family.

@@okdk7 I think there should be rules of involvement, permission from the persons family and/or police. Their are children involved who they may be protecting from the details and then up pops a youtuber with a video 🤦‍♀️😥

@@Factchecker111 I hear you. Once a missing person case is filed it leaves someone open to life long "help" , speculations etc, a mess for sure. Perhaps people might think about that before "going missing and not telling their families..." But, I do realise there are a lot of variables. When I see someone is found I usually stop bothering with the case...TRUE CRIME genre has really made it all quite horrible for families ... again I hear you. Pretty sure this was an honest mistake, thinking he was still missing. idk

Ikr we absolutely wont go until its time though. It's sad heartbreaking unfair especially when perps are walking around living their lives like they never did anything. Then as taxpayers pay for trials I don't understand it. I was blown away over a million on court cost. It should b a tap on amount paid out. Then theres accidental it hurts everyone too! Poor dementia people my mom had it and took off in her car. Went through Wisconsin Minnesota into south Dakota I was 3 hours behind her. It took 2 hours to get le to put a silver alert out. An hour to get help so I didn't get lost I had no cellphone. She fell at wayside couldn't get up. Some people called for help. They found my little sister phone # in her purse. She lives in south Dakota was her birthday. But my mom was also sick idk it. Until I seen her.

Hi, Adam. From the looks of some of those ponds, they haven't had enough rain to return to their usual water levels. BOB is proving invaluable in these pond searches and has probably paid for itself in terms of time and energy saved. Hopefully more info will be forthcoming in the near future. Hey Adam. Thank you for all you do! The blue color to the water in those ponds is copper sulfate. It’s used to kill weeds in the pond.

Thanks for the video, people put the dye in the water to cut down on algae blooms and other aquatic plants from taking over. Also it looks better than murky brown water.

That mini boat was a great idea for yall. Definitely helps to search those small areas faster. You might want to try out your drone in wooded areas and see if you spot any cars that are abandoned out there. Love what yall are doing. Keep up the great work.

We trust your judgement, Adam. You've done enough searches to pretty well know if you are on the right track or not. If you feel the pond isn't deep enough, then it probably isn't. You keep records of where you've searched and what you found, or why you didn't search. 😊

Hey Adam, It seems that you do more by yourself then when you're with Jeremy. Wish you would show more videos like this. With Jeremy buying that cabin home that needs a ton of work, you may just be on your own for sometime. What you are doing is awesome. FYI - there is NO MP (missing person) case in NamUs for Douglas Kocher... If you speak with the family they may want to get in touch with NamUs and start that case. The last media updates I saw were from July 14th , 2022...

Since his car license plate was from Ohio maybe he decided to head back there and start over or chose a spot along the way to Ohio. May have a favorite spot away from where he was last seen.

Yeah, but Adam, with those tiny lakes that you cant tell how deep the middle is - remember Jan Smith that AWP found. We’d NEVER have guessed it deep enough. Hey Adam, the reason a lot of people die their lakes, a dark blue like that is the keep the ducks in the the geese out of it and also prevent some of you get what they call that I got it’s kind of like a duck weed that the goose and the ducks eat that kind of keeps it down, so it doesn’t grow because it’s too dark for the sunlight, the plant thrives on sunlight.

In my humble opinion if a car veered off into an office complex retention pond it would be quite apparent by groundskeepers and office personnel reporting for work would have immediately reported such. Not to mention surrounding shrub and tree damage along with tire ruts in grass. ⚠️

When someone sends a text, leaving a message that sounds like they are saying goodbye is sad but, not always evidence of possible self-deletion. If I was driving and wound up in a body of water and unable to exit the vehicle, as it sank. I can imagine me doing the same thing. Sending messages of love or making sure that certain things did not go unsaid would be normal for someone that facing the end.

AND psychologically, certain individuals will choose the nearest location!. Others will choose a location not normally considered in the initial investigation!😊
