I wired my first cabinet from watching your video(s)....so thank you for that. ** It broke my heart hearing you talk about your dad. You clearly loved him...and he you. Prayers to you and your family.

I'm glad there's nothing left unsaid, it just sucked because I was actually trying to grow our relationship and was only 2 weeks in on a set phone call schedule to make sure we'd talk once a week. But I'm also glad we attempted to start it before we found out he was sick so he knows the intent was pure. Thank you for your prayers and kind words, they do help. :-)

So sorry for all the badness. My prayers are with you. You’ve been a big inspiration and virtual assistance with slooooowwwww arcade cabinet build. Could not have gotten to this point without your videos. Can’t wait for next next video. Suggestions: arcade1up mod, updated cabinet wiring, perhaps barcode project. Lastly, sending virtual good karma to you, and your family

Thank you, I was trying to not take a nap today and the wife reminded me, it's okay, you had a heart attack 60 days ago, it will take a while to get back to your old self... sound advice, it's just annoying to be so low on energy :-)

I turned 40 this year and the worst part about getting older isn't the extra lines or pounds accumulating on your body or the aches and pains your body develops, but losing people who were once close to you, whether they be old friends who drifted away or close family that's passed away. In a short time I've had a number of people I know pass on, some of them (such as my grandfather) were old and it was to be expected and a few of them who should have had much longer. My father recently had a heart attack and I've watched him diminish from a man who I always thought of as a pillar of strength. I can relate to your situation as I'm sure many can, seeing the one photo at the end of you and your father just having a smoke together was kind one of those 'a picture can tell a thousand words' moments, I can tell you guys weren't just father and son but good friends. My relationship with my father has been strained at times but that photo made me think of how my father has always tried to be my friend. I'll wrap this up by saying, I can relate and I've suffered greatly from depression but what I keep trying to remind myself is that there are still plenty of things to look forward to, if only we can find the strength to stay positive and as they said in Monty Python's Life of Brian "Look on the bright side of life".

Yes I’m a lot older, I have changed my eating habits etc, but hey life is great that’s why I dislike wars , we are all only humanbeings with short lives be happy everyone. Yes I agree with you, when you’re young you don’t think anything can hurt you, and you never listen to older people, I wish I did more of listening.

I love that song. Yeah, I'm blessed that my dad and I had a good relationship in the last 16 years since my son was born. Prior to that, we did not get along that well. I'm also blessed that said everything that needed to be said, so no regrets. Stay strong buddy :-)

I was a gamer from the 70’s I was a kid of the Pong and Atari era and I lost my two parents in the last few years it’s the saddest thing ever. I’m so sorry Maverick to hear your sad news but your on the right path like you said my friend, and I hope you get well and better, life is so short for arguing and fighting isn’t it , we are one. Take good care 👍🏻

Man- sorry for the loss, losing family and friends is never easy. Overtime, grief is replaced by memories, those good memories, of all the times you had together! Look after your health, get those regular checks, eat well, exercise regularly! Love what you do and how you explain things!

I am so sorry for your loss. Mine came 18 years ago...I wish I could say it gets easier, but that would be a lie. My father was my hero. I'm glad you caught your heart attack in progress and shut it down. When I was a kid, nearly nobody survived a heart attack. I think I can say for most of your fans - it's a better world with YOU in it. We wish you the best, bro.

i know how you feel my DAD, past away 2 years ago but due to Covid virus and i couldnt see him in hospital due to restrictions, i just seen him about 1-2 months before that,as i live out of state he was diagnose with prostate cancer already and didnt want to do treatments so with the covid virus it made it worse, , during that time unable to respond, they said he was getting worse, nurse did a face time with family, so we can say our goodbyes, my wife has voicemails on her phone from him, it doesnt get easy, still hard

Yeah, that is so horrible. I know many people that are haunted by the fact that they weren't allowed to be with their loved ones. It makes me so angry for those who've had to go through that. I am blessed that I got to be with him, and I know that it was a blessing to hold his hand and know somewhere he was aware of my prescience. Nobody should ever have to die alone without their family present. I'm sorry you had to go through that as well.
