Thank you Natalie! This was an awesome video and I did not notice ANY background noise! There are so many different ways to do this that I get a bit confused. I think that you could make several different videos highlighting different techniques! They are all great! I guess another way would be to have a list of time stamps for different methods? I will watch again! I’m not too much of a card maker, but all of these techniques can be used for junk journaling pages too and that’s why I like them! I started to say good luck with your move and then I looked and this video is 5 years old! But the techniques are still good today! I will look to see if you are still making videos and I certainly hope so!! Thank you again!💕

Who knew a baby wipe could do this?! I tried it with micro glaze (as suggested by Tim Holtz and Jennifer McGuire), but on photo paper (instead of alcohol ink cardstock). It did nothing and I was so disappointed, but I tried the baby wipe and wow! Thank you for this video!

I love this technique! I had to stop the video in the middle and go make some distress oxide backgrounds. I love the yummy colors! One of the things I like to do with bright backgrounds like this is to die-cut flowers and leaves they are so vibrant when done on the glossy paper. I bought a bunch of distress oxide reinkersand they worked great for this method. I’m going to try playing some more with the stencils and versamark now.

I LOVE the distress oxide on photo paper backgrounds, but I learned something today: you DO NOT need the Tim Holtz distress glaze, or the baby wipes (unless you want it waterproofed). You can simply wipe it down with a tissue or a paper towel. I prefer the tissue.

I love your idea about the photo paper. I have found that you dont need your heat tool between layers, just at the end. Just blot with a paper towel so there isnt any standing water. I have also used the stencils, but for a resist technique with Brillance ink. Cool technique, thanks!

Glad I came across this! 😂 I’ve tried this smooshing technique a while back and made a bunch of cards once. Never realized I was supposed to wipe over the card with a damp towel!😂 I will give it another go!

I am blown away by this Technique. Who ever would have thought of it? I didlisten carefully about heat setting after each colour but I must have missed that bit with the stencils. Do you spray the the piece after stencilling then heat & repeat? You went so fast to cover so much it was just wonderful& I am about to watch again. Thank you for sharing.

Hello, I hope you didn't already answer this question, but I did use the "find" feature to see if you had and the search didn't come up with anything. Can you please clarify which side of the photo paper are you using, the shiny front vs non-glossy back? I have heard others recommend using the backside of the Kirkland (Costco) brand. Also, is this glossy photo paper or matte or something else altogether? Thank you.

I LOVE THIS INK. I WORK ON BLACK GLOSSY PAPER A LOT. I HAVE TRIED THIS INK ON THIS PAPER, AND CANNOT GET IT TO WORK. ALL IT DOES IS SMEAR OFF, NOT LIKE WORKING ON WHITE GLOSSY PAPER. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Great video... what type of photo paper did you use? Mine turned out horribly. Maybe my photo paper was too old, maybe?
