Hair FAQs
How long have you been natural?
- All my life. I have never used any chemicals on my hair.
How long did it take you to grow your hair?
- Hard to say. My hair has pretty much always been around bra strap length. Within the past 2-3 year I have been able to grow my hair to about tailbone length.
What heat setting do you use on your flat iron?
- Hard to tell. My flat iron only shows the highest heat setting. Not sure the exact temperature.
How often do you straighten my hair?
- One to two times a year
How often do you wash you hair?
- Straightened: After about 4-6 weeks. It depends on how oily my hair is and if there is a lot of dandruff. I add little to no product to my hair so I don't have much build up.
-Mini twist: Every 2-4 weeks
How ofter do you cut/trim your hair?
-Maybe 1-2 times a year. I only/mainly do it when my hair is straight and I only straighten my hair about 1-2 times a year.
Do you have a Instagram? (Not a hair question)
- Nope.

Would you ever try Chebe powder again ? And also which method do you think helped you retain the most length between Chebe or the mini twists ?

In photo at 2:15 you look like a beautiful Barbie doll, just absolutely gorgeous! Girl, you need to quit playing - your hair has had an INCREDIBLY significant, amount of growth and length retention!

Love hearing different girls’/women’s individual hair stories & journeys. We all have a story and our hair usually tells it! I’m at bra-strap length now and looking forward to getting to waist length by rocking twists for a year or 2. I do wanna take the time to enjoy my hair in btwn tho! I need to learn more about Chebe too.. Thanks for the video, Beautiful! 😊

You’re gorgeous, and so is your hair, I have a similar texture and length as your hair in ‘18, so I’m excited to use the chebe, and avoid heat and see if I receive similar results!

What a journey! Congratulations! (I went to Cal for college. But born in Los Angeles). You’re hair has flourished! And it’s truly a journey! Sidenote: Shea moisture never worked for me either 😅

I love the hair journey. I use Chebe grease because I saw where you were stating that the powder made your hair look dirty, so I decided to get the grease and ai love it.

Your hair is so beautiful and so are you. I have two questions. Do you take any hair vitamins and do you have a picture of the Chebe hair grease cause I want to try it. I need hair growth help 😄

Sorry, I didn't answer the second part of your question in my video but I didn't use a grease. I just mixed the power with some conditioner and oil.

I’ve had quite a few traumatizing hair salon experiences as well as outside the salon as a child. Hence y I’m currently in cosmetology school currently & I even notice things u mention in my school right now where a lot of the stylists who can slay a wig or lace front do not know how to properly care for natural hair or they only wanna focus on trends so they skip over the info being given because they feel it’s not something they wanna specialize in
