Hi, thanks for the great tip. Had the same problem with my silver and yellow 6139 Pogue and your recomendation saved the day. Even more because the original bracelets were missing a couple of links and were short for my 7" wrist too. If it is no secret, how much did you pay for your silver 6139. i have a Divex brand diver watch, i have changed the strap to a rubber seiko strap in which after watching this video i wonder if uncle seiko has a jubilee strap which can fit my divex watch??

You should know I think it looks awesome. Glad you could make use of this almost necessary accessory.for the 6139. I was going to do the H-link, but everyone seems to buy that and the silver dial is usually seen to have been sold with the Stelux presidential style bracelet. I'm Italian and my father own a Pepsi Pougue w yellow dial. The strap is the original 60' rattling ones but I think is really match to this watches. BTW you make great videos.

I have an Uncle Seiko beads of rice bracelet on my SKX009. It's definitely a cool looking. The quality of mine isn't the best though. The finishing and clasp on mine isn't great. A few links are actually sticking out from not being milled and at a different angle. I don't know if mine was just poorly done, or if they are all like that. It would be an awesome bracelet if mine had been executed better!

My solid end links fit right out of the bag. You should try yours just to see

I like my uncle Seiko presidential for my 6139-6005 (blue dial) except the clasp. I wish they would use a milled bracelet like my strapcodes for my skx’s instead of the stamped but it’s a good bracelet overall. I really wish strapcode made a bracelet for the 6139.

I have a Uncle Seiko Z199 replacement on a 7548-7000 (a Quartz ancestor of the SKX007 from the early eighties), The bracelet is good quality, comfortable, and maintains the originality of the watch. Recommended,

You should not put it on a winder. Experts feel it will wear down parts faster. Especially on a vintage watch.

There are a couple people that can make the original bracelet like new. I believe the owner of Undone is one of them.

I know's it's been a year, but ordered a waffle bracelet for my new Orient Mako II USA, white dial with black waffle should be great. He answered me promptly and told me to have him ship thinner spring bars for the Orient, have a few bracelets I want to replace. The new Seiko Monster. and a Prospex 200M Automatic Blue Ref. SBDC053 . Larry told me to install it on my first watch. see how I like it and then order either a waffle or other style or bands or replacement. The Monster needs to replaced sooner rather than later and may want to go bracelets.. I don't care for Seiko's bracelets, don't hate them, just not wild about them. The SBDC053 I purposely ordered on silicon leather and I rather like it and would like to in the not near future replace it with something better..

It's the exact same bracelet that is on my grandfather's Seiko UFO (6138-0011) he gave me few years before he passed away. I see that you aren't a big fan of the bracelet but I love it and I am about 2 links shy on my grandfather's UFO. I've been looking for this original bracelet but can't find it anywhere and can't trust eBay and other lesser known websites. If you are interested in selling the bracelet, please let me know.

As much as I don't care for Seiko bracelet build quality...the SKX jubilee bracelet is the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn. I actually like it more than (don't hate me) the new Sub bracelet and the Tudor pelagos bracelet...idk why, it's just so comfy how it drapes around the wrist.

Why would someone sell such a classic?

The strap for my seiko srp641 baby tuna was ugly and made the watch significantly less comfortable as well as stylish. Switched to a NATO and it looks a million times better

Typical Seiko and their not so good straps/bracelets. I have a few Seiko, but no Uncle Seiko yet. Shipping + VAT to Europe will make the total price go through the roof :( Still a nice review - ALOT better than the Era fiasco!
