My favorite tip was hanging the Stinger on my pants pocket! I was constantly setting it on the ground and then picking it up. For some odd reason that never occurred to me. I might even incorporate a small utility or hammer pouch to hang the Stinger when I need hands-free to adjust a magnet or something..

Hey Bub… I’m new to your channel. You do a great job with everything from quality of work to explaining the process at hand. I’m 44yrs welder by trade. Most of all my work had been structural/Millwright shutdown work. I’m curious if you would recommend someone such as myself to jump into working solely for myself. “Into days economic status” I have no interest in outages/shutdown work. I’m more interested in gates,Equipment etc….. any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We have sandy soil down to about 18". Once you get past that, it's extremely hard compacted sand. It's a lot like trying to dig through rock. Would it be sufficient to set a 7' 2 7/8 post three feet in the ground (12" hole 3' deep, post set in concrete) for a 4'x12' gate as long as the posts are braced? I plan on building angled braces with 4 vertical posts and a single horizontal brace between all 4 on each side. The setup will be a lot like the 8" dia entrance you built, but without the high horizontal. Would you use your fence clips to attach goat wire to the braces?

Love the channel Austin. Thinking about doing a pipe fence. I'm in central FL and have a few questions. This fence is just raw mild steel correct? You don't treat it with anything when finished? Left raw and in the elements, how long does one expect to get out of these fences before they start rusting away? Thanks man. Stay safe out there.
